[Chapter Eight]

the door opened to us with our faces closing in as the silence made us realize what we're about to do, Nick backed away and laughed it off "Hey George!" he exclaimed as George nonchalantly entered the roo. I sighed out of pure embarrassment that I almost kissed him out of nowhere

Nick elbowed me "Looking forward to that festival thing you're planning to do later!"

*How did he find out I'm planning something?* I thought to myself as I looked at George

He shook his head "I wouldn't tell anyone bout your plan," he said with a smirk "You literally almost spouted shit at my aunt!"

He laughed "You didn't even let me finish what I was gonna say!"

I rolled my eyes, as I pout at them both giving them a suspicious look, "Come on you two let's go!" Nick said as he grabbed me by my wrist.

He ran out of the Arcade  "W-whoa! Nick where are you taking me?" He turned me with a wry smile on his face "You'll see!" I turned my look behind us and saw George with the other 2 "OYY WHERE ARE YOU TWO GOING?!"

My eyes lit up, I smirked and followed with Nick's pace in running "Alright bring me where you want to!!" 

we turned to a corner of the mall's side and there I saw, a huge bounce house playground with a huge ball pit "Whoa!!!" I exclaimed 

I pulled Nick closer to me as we both ran inside the bounce house, I turned my look and the other three were nowhere to be seen.

I shrugged and looked for the cashier, Nick tugged on my arm and pulled me at the cashier I was looking for.

"Uhm... adults are not allowed unless you're a guardian of a kid who's playing inside the bounce house..." I blanked out for a second and Nick grabbed on my wrist tightly "W-we're just buying the tickets in advance! for the kids! that will come later!"

the cashier rolled their eyes "alright... how many hours?"

"5 tickets for 1 hour please!!!" I said as I slammed my $100 on the counter

"Alright enjoy your time there sir..." the cashier said as they returned on their phone scrolling.

George and the others caught up "Where the hell have you two been?!"

Nick fixed his bangs to the side with that bright smile on his face "running from you slow ass bitches! AYO!" He raised his arms at me and I landed it with a high five.

I waved the tickets around "so are you guys in or what?" Zak walked up to me with his eyes in pure excitement "How did you get those tickets I thought it was  impossible to avail if you're 12 above!?"

I smirked as I looked at Nick, "we had our ways as I turned my look at them"

Darryl began removing his shoes "Come on guys!" he said as he charged into the empty ball pit, He jumped into the ball pit and we all followed with him.

Today was a good day... "Maybe I can really do it!" I whispered under my breath

we played on the slides and literally just playing on the ball pit as we pass the time until it was 12 PM.

I laid over the top of the slide as I think about what he'll think of me later...

George tapped me on the shoulder, I looked up and saw him with a serious face "we need to go Nick still has to register for the competition..."

I sighed and nodded, I grabbed George by his ankle "What are you doing?" He looked at me with a shocked face, I smirked as I slid down on the tallest slide in the bounce house
