As I was walking out of my dorm to make my way to potions I bump into Tate.
"Shit I'm sorry I didn't see you"
"No don't worry about it, hey I was wondering if you wanted to hang out after school?"
"Um yeah sure why not" I liked Tate. Tate was nice and cute.
"I'll be in the common room after class you can find me here. I have to go to class I'll see you later" I walked away and made my way to class.
I spotted Draco and made my way over to sit next to him.
"Today we'll be doing the Amortenia potion, here we have a sample that I made. Does anyone want to volunteer to smell it?" Snape said
I knew that no one was going to raise their hand because no one wanted to be exposed.
"Ms. Rivers, will you like to come up?"
"I don't have a choice," I said as I got up
"5 points from Slytherin" ugh
"Okay um I don't really know I can't make out the smell. Uh the Smell of Rain, mint, fresh cologne, and um something sour but I don't know what"
"Good job" Snape said
I nodded and made my way back down to my seat
"Mr.Malfoy come on up" Draco got up and took a whiff
"Okay I smell Vanilla, Flowers I think daisies maybe, and I assume green apple scented shampoo"
Shit.
"Okay you may sit back down thank you Malfoy" He made his way back to me avoiding contact.
Why was he ignoring me?
"Get the materials you need and start the potion"
"Okay Malfoy you need
Ashwinder(5), Rose Thorn(6), Peppermint(6), powdered moonstone(6), Pearl Dust(7), and Rose Petals(8)"
He nodded and made his way to the other side of the class and went to the other side of the class to get the ingredients.
------After Potions-------
As soon as we were dismissed Draco got up and left and I ran after him.
'Hey Malfoy" I grabbed his arms so he would face me
"What?"
"Why are you ignoring me?"
"I'm not, I'm busy I'll talk to you later" and he walked away.
I entered DADA (Defense against the dark arts)
"AMARA GUESS WHAT" she yelled shaking my shoulders
"Omg damn what happened Aurora"
"JOSEPH GOT EXPELLED AND SO DID THEO!"
"REALLY?!"
"YES YES YES"
I felt so relieved of never having to see Joseph or Theo's face ever again. They got what they deserved
--------- 3 days ago Draco's POV--------
"You have a wonderful gift Draco, you're a mind reader," said Snape
"Is there anybody's mind I can't read?" I wanted to get as much information I could from him.
"You can't read the minds of people you develop feelings for"
--------back in the present after school------
I picked out my outfit which was a white tennis skirt, long sleeves with a neck collar, a cream-colored sweater vest.

I made my way downstairs
"Where the fuck do you think you're going," Draco said sitting on the common room couch.
"Oh um I'm going to hang out with Tate" I smiled
He got up from where he was sitting and made his way over to me looking at me up and down. He made me feel small.
He put his hands on my chin forcing me to look up at him
"Oh no you're not Rivers"
"I'm not asking you Draco" and with that, I tried to leave but he gripped my neck and wrist pushing me against the wall.
"I said you're not going with him, Amara," he said as he smirked
I'm pretty sure that was the 2nd time he had ever used my first name
"And I'm saying that I don't give a fuck Draco" I knew that I was driving him crazy and I loved the power I felt right now. I pushed my lower body off the wall grinding it against him and he placed a hand on my hip. I leaned into the side of his face and gave him soft neck kisses making sure to leave a mark.
I then whisper in his ear
"Have fun by yourself" and gave him 1 last neck kiss and made my way to find Tate.
