When I woke up this morning I was not looking forward to practice given the whole Serena drama fest. I just wish this bitch would vanish into thin air, but unfortunately I just wasn't that lucky.
"Babe, you ready to go? I have to leave soon, I can't be late. Coach Reid will have my ass!" Patrick shouted to me as I quickly got dressed and slipped on a pair of sneakers.
"Coming!" I yelled back as I ran out of our bedroom and out to the living room where Patrick was waiting for me.
"You look beautiful babe, promise you'll take it easy?" Patrick asked me sweetly before quickly kissing my lips.
"Yes, I promise." I stated before smiling happily.
"Alright let's go." Patrick said as he lead the way out the front door and into his car.
The season was just about ready to start up again, training camp was over, and the days prior to the 2020 NFL season were dwindling down. Even though being pregnant restricted me quite a bit, I was still excited for the start of the new season. I was excited for this team and to finally watch them play again.
Once Patrick and I arrived at Arrowhead we entered the stadium and walked towards the field for practice.
"Our first game is in a couple weeks, you ready?" Patrick asked me with a happy smile.
"Oh yeah, so ready." I replied before chuckling slightly. Patrick smiled at my response happily, flashing me his teeth as we stepped foot on the turf.
"Well this is where we part ways." Patrick stated playfully as he wrapped his arms around me. I simply smiled up at Patrick before getting on my tippy toes to kiss his lips sweetly.
"See ya later." I said in a sing song voice before I turned towards my cheer squad and headed to our usual corner.
"Hey Van, how are you today girl?" Olivia asked me with a wide smile.
"I'm good, ready for practice." I stated with a smile as I set my bag and water bottle down. I wasn't gonna let Serena get to me today, it's gonna be a good day because I said it's gonna be.
