Today was the day I was taking Ayla and Jace to a game for the first time to see their daddy play. This wasn't just any regular football game, this was a playoff game. This was the game before the divisional championship game against the Browns.

This season felt like it flew by, I was so busy with other things that I hardly got to enjoy it, and now it's almost gone again. I was so incredibly proud of Patrick for fighting to lead this team back to the Super Bowl again, but the sad thing was I haven't felt like I've showed it to him very well recently.

I wanted nothing more than to repeat last season, it truly was a fairytale. I'm the happiest when I'm right there with Patrick on the field cheering him on during games, but unfortunately unexpected things happened and I just wasn't able to do that this season. Patrick wanted me to talk to Sydney and Olivia about coming back to cheer part-time, but I wasn't even sure if it was worth asking now with the season being almost over.

As these sad thoughts circulated through my head, I was getting Ayla and Jace dressed and ready for their daddy's game, dressing them in all Chiefs apparel of course. I decided to wear a skin tight turtleneck long sleeve red dress with black thigh-high boots.

"Are we ready to go see daddy win a big game?" I asked my kids happily as I held them on either hip, bouncing them excitedly. Ayla giggled slightly while Jace let out a small excited scream. I laughed at my goofy kids, they really loved Patrick so much, it honestly warmed my heart. "Okay, okay, we have to wait for Uncle Jordan and Auntie Lola to get here first." I said with a smile as I set them down in their pack and plays.

I spent the next few minutes packing their diaper bags, and other important things I thought to bring just in case. This was their first time going out into a large crowd, and I wanted to be prepared for anything. Just as I finished packing everything up my door swung open, Jordan and Lola entered my house excitedly.

"Who's ready for some football?!" Jordan shouted excitedly.

"Me!!" Lola replied, making me laugh.

"Thanks so much again for coming to help with the twins." I said, greeting my siblings with a sweet hug.

"Are you kidding? I get to spend the day watching football with my family, what's better than that?" Jordan remarked happily.

"Oh, there are my gorgeous babies!!" Lola shrieked as she rushed over to Ayla and Jace, picking them up and giving them hugs and kisses. The twins loved mine and Patrick's families, which was an absolute blessing. Neither Ayla or Jace were fussy with anyone, which made life so much easier when Patrick and I needed a break.

"You ready to go? Game starts in an hour and a half." Jordan asked me curiously as I smiled and nodded.

"Yup, we just gotta load some stuff in the car." I replied happily.

"Okay, Lola and I will get the kids, you get whatever else you need and we'll meet you in the car." Jordan offered as he picked up Jace, and Lola picked up Ayla.
