The last couple weeks I really focused on getting my body back to the way it was, while working on mine and Patrick's wedding plans. Patrick and I were eager to get married, and we didn't want to wait.
For the most part, I watched Ayla and Jace while doing wedding plans. Lola and Jordan came over when I went to the gym to watch the twins, and Patrick chipped in when he wasn't on the football field.
My body was finally getting on track after weeks of hard work. My weight was right around where I wanted it to be, but I still had awful stretch marks I was desperately trying to get rid of. Patrick and I still haven't been intimate, and it's been well over a month since I've given birth. Both of us were just so busy with football, our wedding, and the twins that we really didn't have the time.
Patrick and I decided to set the date for our wedding two weeks after the Super Bowl weekend. The two of us weren't sure what the future held, so we wanted to play it safe in case we do make it to the Super Bowl again and win.
Today Patrick had the day off, and I was going shopping to hopefully find a wedding dress with Lola, Jordan, my mom, Patrick's mom, Sydney, and Olivia. My mom and Patrick's mom flew in yesterday and was staying with Patrick and I, spending extra time with Ayla and Jace.
Meanwhile, I was upstairs getting ready to head to the bridal shop. I decided to wear comfy clothes and a baseball cap, my hair was lightly curly and my makeup was done naturally. I didn't wanna go too over the edge, but I also wanted to look good.
I came down the stairs with my purse and phone in hand. Patrick, my mom, Lola, Jordan, and Patrick's mom were sitting in the living room holding and passing around Ayla and Jace. I smiled happily at the sight before I finally spoke.
"You guys ready?" I asked Randi, Lola, Jordan, and my mom as they turned to face me.
"Yes Rae, we're ready when you are." my mom answered with a smile as Patrick laid Ayla and Jace in their pack and plays before approaching me. Patrick walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist before placing a sweet kiss on my forehead.
"Have fun baby, and don't stress. You'll look gorgeous in any dress." Patrick said sweetly as he smiled down at me, knowing full well that's what I'll be most concerned about. I smiled and chuckled at Patrick as he could pretty much read my mind.
"I won't stress." I replied happily.
"Promise?" Patrick asked with a wide smile.
"Promise." I replied as Patrick leaned down to give me one last goodbye kiss. Our families just stood and watched us be all cute and lovey.
"Alright, well have fun mom, Carrie, Jordan, and Lola. See y'all soon." Patrick said happily as he went back to tend to our twin babies close by.
"We will honey, call us if you need anything." My mom replied sweetly as we all filed out the front door.
