Harry's POV
I felt the somewhat familiar pulling sensation as I whirred through space, landing shakily in the lobby of Gringotts. As I gathered my balance, the goblin at the counter waited patiently to serve me.

I straightened up and walked as fast as my broken body would let me toward the goblin at the counter. When I arrived, he looked at me expectantly, waiting to be told what I wanted.
"Erm..." I awkwardly looked at the floor before managing to say "I'm here to see Griphook about my inheritance?"

The goblin snorted and said plainly "follow me Mr.Potter", putting a strange emphasis on Potter.
I was led through a seemly unremarkable set of doors and into a small chamber. In the center of the room, there was an empty desk with a chair in front of it waiting for him. Behind the desk, Griphook was seated, no doubt awaiting his arrival.

Upon seeing me, he frowned slightly with an unreadable expression hiding within his eyes. I bowed to the goblin that had led me here, showing respect to which he seemed surprised. It always bothered me how little wizards thought of goblins...

I was brought back into the present as Griphook gave a small cough, reminding me that I was standing awkwardly by the door.
I sat in front of the desk and asked in a smaller voice than intended "What am I here for?"

Griphook looked slightly offended at the phrasing of the question, but nevertheless replied "To discuss your inheritance and vaults, as the letter stated."

"Oh, of course..." is all I could manage in reply while looking at my feet, embarrassed of my own stupidity.

He sighed and started what would be a long night of explanations and surprise.

"As you must've noticed by now," he started while fumbling in his desk for something "you've come into your creature inheritance early. This can happen in life-threatening situations, which from the look of you..." he said glancing toward my bruised face, losing his sentence in the process.

I gave a small cough which brought him back to what he was saying as he produced a scroll of parchment and a small silver dagger from his desk. "You must already be aware of the circumstance. Now to see your true...composition, seven drops of blood must be dropped onto this parchment." He slid the parchment forward as he finished his sentence, a spark of curiosity showing in his dark eyes.

I cautiously took the knife, pricking my finger slightly on the end of it. I held my finger over the parchment and squeezed slightly, a round droplet finally falling onto the blank surface below. After six more small drips of the crimson liquid, the parchment started to swirl with streaks of red. The swirls all gathered in the center of the parchment, and soon the red absorbed into the paper, leaving it blank once more.

I gave griphook a confused look as he watched the off-white sheet expectantly. Suddenly, words started to appear toward the top of the parchment, and I watched in horror as the report developed.

As the initial shock faded, I looked up to see Griphook wearing a strange expression. He slowly started to speak through his apparent disbelief "How are you alive?"

"What?" I said, more than confused now.

"You shouldn't be alive with all the blocks that have been placed on you..." He stared off for a moment before realizing something and looking back at me. "Would you like the blocks removed?"

"What happens if I do?" I asked skeptically.

A mischievous glint found its way into Griphook's eyes, and he smirked a little before saying "You'll be stronger than those who crossed you."

"Do it."
