Consoling Devika

Devika was crying continuously but Yudhisthira sat silently and let her tears burn his skin. Her tears were so powerful that they were enough burn anyone's skin. Yudhisthira was silently bearing the pain, as he thought that he was worthy of it.
After sometime, Yudhisthira started crying because his wrist was almost burnt. Devika was shocked seeing his behavior. She quickly wiped her tears and asked Yudhisthira, where had happened!

" Ahhhh! Devi!!! My wrist!!! U burnt it Devi!!! Ahhh", said Yudhisthira dramatically.

" Wh.... what... I... burnt... ur wrist!!! H... how", asked Devika confusedly.

" Ur tears drops are so powerful, that it burnt my wrist!!! Ahhh!", said Yudhisthira showing his burnt wrist. Devika was shocked.

" I'm... I'm so... sorry", said Devika slowly. She closed her eyes in fear.

" I'm sorry Prince", said Devika . Yudhisthira placed his fingers on her lips and signalled him not to apologise.

Both of them were lost in each other's eyes. They can feel each other's touch. They forgot their surroundings. They were talking with their eyes.
After sometime, both of them felt awkward. Yudhisthira took out his finger from Devika's lips. Devika turned to another side, to hide her blush. He smirked seeing her condition.

" So Devi, do u want forgiveness?", asked Yudhisthira calmly.

" Yss", replied Devika slowly.

" Then first look at me", said Yudhisthira. Devika slowly re turned towards him and looked into his eyes.

" Hmm. Now inorder to get forgiveness from me, u have to forgive me", said Yudhisthira. Devika shooked her head in a no.

" Ok, then forget forgiveness from me", said Yudhisthira smirking. Devika looked down. She couldn't decide what to do!

" I can never forgive u Prince. Do u know, that when I learned that Princess Panchali is ur wife, my heart was pierced into infinite parts", said Devika sobbing.

" Achha! And do u know that when u cried, my heart was pierced into how many pieces?", asked Yudhisthira. Devika was tongue tied. She had no answer. She hugged him tightly and cried bitterly.

Yudhisthira hugged back and caressed her hair. He told her to be calm. But it seemed like, her tears have no end.

Yudhisthira broke the hug. He cupped her face and asked, " Do u love me Devi?". She nodded in reply.

" Do u know one thing? True love doesn't need the lovers to be with each other. True lovers always keep their partners inside their heart. They must be in a long distance, separated from each other, but heart keeps a vast place for them", said Yudhisthira. Devika calmed down hearing his words.

" And u are still now here", said Yudhisthira placing her palms on his chest. Devika smiled.

" Devi, I have to marry Panchali, due to certain circumstances. I know, that I love her so much. But u will be my first priority and love❤️", said Yudhisthira smiling. Devika smiled back.

" Now, u will forgive me na!", asked Yudhisthira.

" No", said Devika giggling.
Yudhisthira made a cute pout face. She laughed seeing his face. She caressed his cheek and said, " Yes".

Yudhisthira was overjoyed because she forgave him. He hugged her tightly.

" Now u will forgive me na!?", asked Devika breaking the hug.

" I have forgiven u from sooo long", said Yudhisthira. Devika smiled. Both of them chatted with each other for sometime and then went inside the hut.
