It was a bright and beautiful morning. The sun's rays illuminated everything with a golden glow, giving the world an aesthetic charm. The sweet chirping of birds woke Subhadra from her sleep. Filled with excitement, she ran to the window and gazed at the serene morning scenery. A glint of ecstasy sparkled in her eyes, reflecting the happiness in her heart.

“How beautiful the morning is!” thought Subhadra. Overcome with joy, she ran out of her room to embrace the beauty of the morning. She took out her flute and began to play a melody that expressed her delight. The sound of her flute was so soothing that birds gathered around her, enchanted by the music.

Soon, the girls of Kanyakul, including Dushala, Charulata, and Gurumata, were drawn to the melody. Mesmerized by the tune, they stood in awe, listening intently. Subhadra, realizing that her music had woken everyone, suddenly stopped and turned to them with a guilty expression.

“Sorry, Gurumata... and my friends. My flute must have disturbed your rest,” said Subhadra apologetically.

“No, Bhadra,” replied Gurumata with a proud smile. “It was a pleasure to wake up to such divine music. You truly bring joy to us all, my child.”

“Well done, my friend!” said Dushala, stepping forward. “Gurumata, she’s my best friend. Of course, that makes her great!” she added proudly, causing everyone to laugh.

“Enough, children, enough,” said Gurumata gently. “I have some news for all of you.”

“What news, Gurumata?” the students asked eagerly, their eyes wide with anticipation.

“Today, all of you will leave Kanyakul,” Gurumata announced, her voice soft and emotional. “This means you will return to your respective kingdoms.”

A tear escaped Gurumata’s eyes as the reality of their departure sank in.

“Gurumata, please don’t cry,” Subhadra said tenderly, her voice filled with concern.

“Alright, Bhadra,” Gurumata promised, wiping her tears. “But only after your departure. You will always be my best student.”

“And us?” asked Charulata, one of Subhadra’s friends, her tone laced with both curiosity and emotion.

“Yes, dear,” Gurumata reassured them, smiling warmly. “All of you are my best students, and you will remain so forever.”

The students embraced Gurumata, their hearts heavy with the thought of leaving her. At a distance, Krishna stood by the ashram gate, silently observing the bond between the teacher and her students. A sense of pride swelled in his heart as he thought, Even my Sudarshan Chakra cannot sever this bond, and Dau’s plough cannot break it. Watching Subhadra, whom Gurumata considered her best student, made him feel even prouder.

The moment of departure arrived. Subhadra and Dushala hugged each other tightly, reluctant to part. After a long embrace, they bid each other farewell.

Subhadra looked around, searching for someone who had come to take her home. Not finding anyone, she felt a wave of sadness wash over her. Suddenly, someone covered her eyes from behind. Startled, she tried to guess who it was. When she felt the familiar touch of a peacock feather, her face lit up.

“Hmm... I know it’s you, Bhrata Kanha, isn’t it?” Subhadra asked, giggling.

“Bhadrey, how did you recognize me?” Krishna asked, pretending to be surprised.

“Bhratashree, you are my brother. How could I not recognize you?” she replied with a radiant smile.

Krishna chuckled. “Hmm... but now my cute, naughty little sister has grown into a beautiful maiden. I’m certain you are the most beautiful girl in all of Aryavarta. Be careful, Bhadrey—any man could fall for you. Who knows? Pitashree and Matashree might not even have to struggle to find a suitable son-in-law!” he teased mischievously.

“Enough, Bhrata! Now stop teasing me and take me to Dwarka,” said Subhadra, trying to hide her blush.

“Alright, I’ll take you to Dwarka. But... there’s a surprise waiting for you there,” Krishna said with a mysterious smile.

“What surprise, Bhrata?” Subhadra asked, her curiosity piqued.

“You’ll find out when you reach Dwarka,” replied Krishna, refusing to reveal more.

“Fine,” she said with a dramatic roll of her eyes. “How is Dau?”

Krishna frowned. “Hmm... and you didn’t ask how I am?”

“You know very well, Bhratashree, that I prefer Dau over you,” Subhadra replied playfully, flipping her hair.

“Fine! Then write a letter to your Dau and ask him to take you to Dwarka!” Krishna said, feigning annoyance and turning away.

“Bhratashree! I can’t live without you,” Subhadra said as she hugged him from behind. Krishna smiled and gently ruffled her hair.

“Alright, my dear sister. Let’s begin our journey to Dwarka. I can’t wait to see your reaction to the surprise,” Krishna said, smiling warmly.

Subhadra’s excitement was palpable as they started their journey. The bond between the siblings shone brightly as they made their way to Dwarka, where destiny had something extraordinary waiting for them.

So what will be the surprise?

Who will give surprise to Subhadra?

Stay tuned to know about it.
