It was Sunday morning and I was watching TV while having breakfast, all of my things were already down, and Chris was finishing his and collecting things that we might have around the house, I had asked him if he needed help, but he told me that he didn't and that he wanted me on the living room just chilling, and I heard:

"Lu, have you seen my charger? I cannot find it anywhere"

I look at the table to see a laptop charger, so I tell him:

"A laptop one?"

"Yes"

"Yeah, there's one here, do you want me to give it to you?"

"Yeah please, I'm in my room"

I got up and went to the room in which he had been sleeping on to see that he was almost done with his luggage and handed the charger to him:

"Are you sure you don't need help?"

He looked around and then told me pointing to a suitcase:

"If you could please close that suitcase it would be perfect"

I got there and after sitting on it I managed to close it:

"Did you shopping or something? Because it's not very easy to close this suitcase"

He just laughed and said:

"Yeah, well, kind of, because I know that your birthday is coming up so..."

I looked over to him, looking away from the suitcase that I was trying so hard to close and asked him:

"So you managed to know when is it?"

He nodded and he told me:

"Yeah, it's July 30, let's just say that I asked one of your friends on Friday and she told me"

"Oh, good" I smiled to him and stood up from the suitcase and placed it down to the floor.

We stood like that in silence until he looked to the watch and told me:

"Our flight is in three hours, is okay with you if we get going to the airport?"

"Yeah sure"

He approached the suitcase I had just closed, took it and said with a smile:

"Okay, then let's get going"

I followed him back downstairs, where already I had all of my things and we took it all into our rented car in a few trips.

The airport was 45 minutes away from the house we've been in, and through the whole trip we kept singing Disney songs and getting to know each other better.

Once we arrived to the airport we placed the car back to the place where it belonged and got all of our things out, placing them in a trolley, Chris was pulling it, and I just stood by his side with the plane tickets and all the stuff that I was going to take with me to the plane, and before we got the chance to get inside the airport Chris told me:

"Lu, I need you to stick by my side no matter what okay? Just take my arm and leave the rest to me, and the mot important thing, don't answer the questions people will ask you got it?"

When I looked at him he seemed pretty serious so I told him after grabbing him by his arm:

"Yeah sure, don't move from your side and don't say anything to anyone"

He looked at me and then laugh, making me laugh as well, and we got into the airpot to get to the United States.

We had managed to get to our gate in time and with a few people noticing Chris, which was very good, because if someone had stopped us I don't know what I would have done, we were sitting down, and I was looking at my phone with my head on Chris's shoulder while he looked over to his phone too, I looked up at him and asked:

"When are we leaving?"

He didn't get the chance to answer me because a woman through the megaphone said:

"Vuelo con destino a Boston está embarcando ahora, por favor acérquese a la puerta de embarque, repito, vuelo con destino a Boston está embarcando ahora, acérquese a su puerta de embarque"

I looked again to Chris and he asked me while I got up:

"Is your question answered honey?"

I laughed a bit and told him:

"Yes it is, but let's hurry if we don't want to miss our flight"

"Yeah you're right"

He offered me his hand and I took it, and both of us approached the first class queue, which was shorter than the economy one, but long enough for me to have time to look around for the last time in a long long time to the country that had seen me born, and had been my home for my whole life, and the only thing that I could do was smile, because, not talking about my parents, I left my favourite country in the whole world with a lot of good memories, and not that much, but very good ones, friends.

Chris pulled me to continue the queue, and soon we were sitting at our seats and I was closing my eyes and letting a shy tear roll through my cheek while I had a smile on my face, I felt how Chris grabbed my hand and so I opened my eyes to look at him and I asked him:

"Is everything okay Chris?"

Chris P.O.V.:

We got into the plane on time, and when we had managed to find our seats and sit down I turned to Lu to say something to her when I found out that she had her eyes closed, a tears was rolling down her cheek and had an smile on her face, at first I was worried, but when I saw her smile I smiled at her and took her hand making her open her eyes and look at me:

"Is everything okay Chris?"

Of course no! I was taking this girl away from the country in which she had been living for her whole life, in which she had her friends, I knew of course that I wasn't forcing her, because I've asked her and she had said yes, so I smiled at her and told her:

"I am, but the question is, are you?"

She nodded with a smile and said:

"Of course I am, I was just thinking, that's it"

"Sure?"

"Sure"
