Chapter Thirty Eight- Settling Things Once and For All

(NOTE- I do apologise for the battle being short as for starters I am not good at writing them and want to end this book as soon as possible as I have two books I want to focus my time on. I am sorry but I will try my best to make things humorous even if its been rushed. Plus I am not good at descriptive battle telling and that it takes so much time describing each and every move)

I couldn't believe what happened just moments ago. I looked down on my left hand to see a ring displayed on my index finger. My engagement ring.

I felt all kinds of emotions rushing through me, the main ones being joy and happiness. After performing for the crowd and getting the shock of my life, Sylveon, Gary, the other Pokemon that accompanied him and I, went over to my friends and family who suddenly rushed at me, pulling me into hugs and congratulating me. Their Pokemon going over to Sylveon.

"I can't believe it." Gary grinned wildly, "I'm an engaged man!" 

"That you are!" Paul smirked, "Congrats dude."

"I'm so happy for you guys!" Chase smiled.

"Did you guys know about this?" I asked as I ran towards my siblings and parents who pulled me into a hug.

"We knew everything." Cecilia laughed, "Gary told us the plan when we all were at lunch a few weeks ago when celebrating Scarlets and Annabelle's first win against the traitors."

"You two are going to have the biggest wedding Hielo has ever seen!" Ash said.

"Congrats uncle!" Scarlet, Annabelle, Blaze and Lucas said.

"Thanks you guys." I said, hugging the young ones back.

"Oh, this is so exciting!" Mom cried in joy, "I have been planning for such a momentous day!"

"That she has." Dad added, "She has over 1,000 wedding attires already picked out."

"And some even drawn out if you want one made." Johanna giggled, "I'm so happy for you dear."

"And get this." Bonnie said, "We, as well as Alicia, Penelope and all our allies, planned your Bachelor parties in a few weeks!"

"Wow..." I awed, "Well its a good thing I said yes."

I turned around to see Sylveon being surrounded by his dearest Pokemon friends and family. His brother Pikachu crying happily as the Mouse Pokemon pulled the Fairy Type into his arms.

"My little brothers all grown up." I hear Pikachu wail, "I'm so proud of you!"

"Thank you Pikachu." Sylveon thanked.

"You are definitely going to make the best bride out there!" Pikachu turned to Umbreon and glared, "Hurt my little brother Umbreon and I swear to Arceus I will erase your existence from this planet."

"I would never dream of hurting my dear Sylveon." The dark eeveelution said, "He is my light and my heart. He is everything to me."

"He better be." Umbreon smiled and placed a paw on Pikachu's shoulder, "Thank you for the approval, best man."

"I-I'm what?"

"The best man." Umbreon said, "You didn't think that you wouldn't be the best man, did you? You're my best friend, rival and are a thing close to a brother to me." Pikachu smiled bright and once again wailed in happiness. 

I chuckle and turned round to the others who were congratulating me and speaking their pieces. Mom and Dad went over to Gary who no doubt were wishing him congratulations and giving him the parental threats if he should harm me.
