The Fallen Will Rise on Broken Wings

Chapter Eighteen-Ash and Lance VS Damian and Tyson Part Two

The stadium was in complete and utter silence.

Not a sound, nor a motion could be heard from anyone.

I looked down on the battlefield to see Charizard radiating huge amounts of magic power, enough to even make the most powerful of Pokemon cower before him. Charizard smirked as he could gaze down at his opponents, satisfied with their reactions. Druddigon was shaking where he stood while Tyranitar did his best not to make a mess of himself on the spot. Tyson held his Pokemon's Pokeball to his chest and took deep breaths while Damian couldn't help but having the desire at the point to just run away with a tail in between his legs, but that would be to cowardly for someone to do.

Even someone as cruel as he is.

"Let's take flight Charizard." Ash smirked. 

"J-Just what is this feeling?" Lance questioned, "Just how strong has Charizard become?!"

"Lets not sweat on the details Lance." Ash said, "Focus on your opponent and I'll focus on mine."

"R-Right."

Ash's eyes started to glow crimson red and started to start off the battle.

"Charizard, Flamethrower!"

"Tyranitar, Sand Storm to deflect the attack!" Damian retaliated.

"Druddigon, Dragon Claw on Dragonite!" Tyson ordered.

"Dragonite, dodge and use Ice Punch!" Lance retorted. 

 Charizard kicked things off by hurling a devastating large beam of fire from his mouth which was hurled for the Armor Pokemon, making the enemy retaliate by conjuring a huge sandstorm in front of itself as a barrier mechanism. Charizard smirked as he increased the attack power, lowering the sandstorms guard and piercing right through. Tyranitar's eyes widened as it saw the fire aiming close to its being and was stuck right in the face. To most Pokemon and people,  a Fire attack against a Rock Type like Tyranitar would not be as effective, but one must not simply believe such tales. Tyranitar was hurled back and crashed into the ground.

Meanwhile, Druddigons claws glowed bright blue and sharp. It flew into the air and charged at Dragonite who smiled and used his wings to dodge. Druddigon grew frustrated and flew around the enemy dragon, lashing with its claws. Dragonite remained calm and dodged each and every strike, smiling as he did so. 

"Get back here coward." Roared Druddigon

"Kiss my behind." Dragonite taunted.

Druddigon fumed as he extended his claws with his power. He charged for Dragonite only for the other dragon to vanish into thin air.

"Where'd you go Dragonite?!"

"Behind you.~" Dragonite sang.

"Wha-"

 Druddigon froze as he felt a fist struck into his back and a sudden chill expelling around his body. Druddigons eyes widened as it felt ice slowly freeze his wings and vital points. Tyson gasped in horror as he watched his Pokemon close his eyes and fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Druddigon is unable to battle! Dragonite is the winner!" The ref declared. 

"Return Druddigon." Tyson called back his Pokemon and smiled. "You were great."

On the Kings side, Ash was having a ball as he watched Charizard and Tyranitar lock horns with one another, fighting for their lives. Tyranitar was struggling severely against the Fire/ Flying Pokemon while Charizard himself was looking all calm and collected, not breaking a sweat.
