"This isn't my house," I mumbled into Harry's chest. After he talked me down, Harry and I had sat on the ground for a little while, just talking and laughing until I fell asleep leaned against him.
"I can't take you home with tear streaks and sandy clothes," he chuckled softly. "Just sleep tonight here and I'll have you home by sunlight."
"I don't even know you," I yawned.
"Do you not trust me?"
"I...I guess I do."
I felt a soft bed under me then my head hitting a pillow and I was out again.

When I opened my eyes, it took me almost five minutes to remember where I was. When I did, I groaned and slapped my hand against my forehead. Great idea Rachel, just pass out in some guy's bed and-
"Good morning, sleeping beauty," Harry grinned as he stepped inside and shut the door behind him. His place was simple, maybe three rooms and a bathroom, and it was more like a screened in porch rather than a house. But it was nice.
"What time is it?" I groaned, flopping back on his bed. "My Pops is probably freaking out."
"I called him and told him you got tipsy and slept on the beach with us," Harry answered easily.
I gaped at him. "What did he say?"
"Well, he thought it was stupid of you to drink."
"But I didn't!"
"Do you want me to call him and tell him the truth?"
"No," I answered with a pout. "Oh, I don't know."
"He was on a fishing trip anyway. He said he told you that he would be gone until Friday."
"Oh, I must have forgotten," I frowned slightly. "What is today?"
"Monday, darling."
"Crap!" I jumped up and began kicking my clothes around, trying to spot my clothes from last night among all the crap littering his floor. "I'm late."
"For what?"
"For work, you dummy! I'm supposed to be doing the morning shift thingie."
"You mean the sunrise watch?"
"Yes!"
I gave up on my clothes and settled for some boxers of his and my bra with a thin tank top over it. Better than naked, I guess.
He leaned against the doorway and chuckled as I jogged into the pouring rain, trying to shield myself by lifting my shirt up.
I rolled my eyes when I saw Liza as the guard, of course she would be the one in charge when I was late.
"Where the hell have you been?" She screamed over the gusting wind and sheeting rain. "You were supposed to be here twenty minutes ago!"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I tried weakly. "I just slept in and-"
"Bullshit! Try that again and you won't have a job to be late for."
I nodded quickly and followed her to the water, where she yelled some things about tides and undercurrents and then left me alone. Of course I had no idea what she was talking about so I was praying that no one was out today.
"She's harmless," Harry's voice said from right behind me, making me jump. "She really doesn't have any power to fire you."
I turned and saw him grinning, his hair dripping wet and my bathing suit in his immense hands.
"And I brought you this, thought you might want it."
I smiled. "You're a life saver."
"Actually yes," he chuckled heartily. "That's sort of my job."
