THESE BABIES FINNA ROCK UR WORLD I SWEAR TO GOD

but do we really need to go through the whole birthing thing again

ps- the boy in this pic only has one sister but let's just pretend like it's twins ok (this is what I imagine James to look like btw)

"I think mummy is still asleep, little man," I heard Harry whisper as soft light flooded into my hospital room. "Come on, let's go see your new baby sisters."

I opened one eye lazily and watched as James began to jump up and down with joy, clapping his hands and making little squealing noises while Harry tried desperately to hush him.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he said quickly as he noticed that my eyes were open and on him. "Do you want us to go? We can leave you to sleep if-"

"No, I'm okay," I answered hoarsely. "I missed you, little James. Do you want to come sleep with mommy?"

"Yes, yes!" He cried, tugging furiously on Harry's pants. "Lift me, dada!"

"Calm down, chunky monkey," Harry chuckled to himself as he easily scooped James up in his tattooed arms. "How are the girls? Still asleep?"

James immediately crawled up the bed to me and snuggled into my side as Harry crossed the room to the one large bassinet in the corner where our perfect little girls slept, both wrapped tightly in soft pink blankets and snoring like there was no tomorrow.

Their individual name plates were still blank and calling to me, but for now I couldn't focus on that. Right now I just wanted to hold and snuggle them, and somehow convince myself that they were real. Two girls? It was insanity.

"Have they eaten yet?"

"Yes." I smiled at him and kissed the top of James' head. "It's hell to feed them both at the same time. But if I try to do one before the other, they cry. I don't know what the hell I'm doing."

"It'll get easier," he assured me softly. "It's only the second day, darling. You still have plenty of time to read books and articles and all that shit. For now let's just enjoy them."

"Yeah, I know," I laughed. "How is James doing at home? Has Grace been singing to him?"

He pursed his lips. "I'm not sure, baby girl. Should she be?"

"I don't know."

Suddenly one of the girls began to cry softly and James perked up, his lips turning into the brightest smile as Harry gingerly lifted her out of the crib and brought her over to us.

"What a sweet little face," Harry beamed down at her. "Look at those eyes- they're already blue, just like yours." (A/N I can't remember if Rachel's eyes are blue but I'm making them now).

"Any name ideas?"

I sighed and took her warm body into my arms, then stroked her full cheek with my finger while Harry cradled the other girl to his bare chest.

"Doesn't she look like an Amelia to you? I don't know, her blue eyes and blonde little hairs just look like an Amelia to me."

He looked up at me and grinned. "Amelia- hm. I like that. I actually like that a lot. Amelia...Jane? Do you like Amelia Jane?"
