serena danced around her room to "beat it" by michael jackson, singing the lyrics at the top of her lungs. her jet black curls bounced up and down as she pretended to do the iconic guitar solo.
when the song finished she plopped down on her bed, out of breath. while staring up at the ceiling she heard a knock at her door.
"come in!" she sang, smiling brightly. The door opened and her little sister, raina's head popped in.
"momma wanted me to tell you that dinner is ready." she said.
"ok! thank you." she said and raina smiled at her while closing the door. serena put her hair up in a high ponytail before making her way downstairs to eat.
when she got in the dining room her mom was finishing up setting the table. her father had passed away 5 years prior, so it was just the 3 of them.
when she sat down at the table, they all held hands to say prayers. serena opened her eyes and saw that raina was already eating. her mom did too because she slapped the fork out of her hand playfully, making them all laugh.
serena smiled to herself for no particular reason. she was a happy girl, nobody could make her unhappy.

"listen to me when I'm talking to you!" maria screamed in jimin's face. They were having one of their daily arguments and like always, maria was doing the most.
"maria, can you please stop screaming?" jimin asked quietly. "i don't even know what we're arguing about."
maria walked up to his face slowly before slapping him hard across the face. "this is what I hate about you!" she screamed some more. "you never listen to me." she broke down the last part which meant she was really angry.
he just stared at her, not even fazed that she had just slapped him, it happens everyday anyways.
"okay okay, i'm sorry." he said. he didn't mean it, but he knew that's what she wanted to hear.
her lips curved up into a wide before she walked up to him and squished his cheeks, her long acrylics digging deep into his skin.
"that's all i wanted to hear." she kissed him lightly on the lips. "but anyways, i'm going out. i don't know when i'll be back so don't wait up on me."
he nodded his head lightly and waited for her to leave before he grabbed a glass bottle and throwing it at the wall pretending it was her. He hated maria, but he loved her at the same time.
it was all confusing and it made him angry, very angry.
he was just an angry guy, nobody could make him happy.
