"jimin where are you taking me?" serena asked, a little bit annoyed after he wrapped a blindfold around her eyes and led her to the car.
"it's a surprise!" he told her for the millionth time. "just wait til we get there."
a month had passed since serena and jimin got back together. even though serena had lost the trust she had in jimin before and was overall still hesitant, she knew she couldn't spend more time away from him.
jimin opened the door and sat her in the passenger seat of the car before running to the other side and hopping in the drivers seat. he started driving, ignoring serena's annoyed mumbles next to him.
"don't you think people are going to think something bad is happening here?" serena muttered. "with me blindfolded and everything it'll look like your tryna kidnap me or something."
jimin chuckled. "nobody's gonna think that. you overthink too much."
she eventually stopped trying to negotiate, seeing that jimin wasn't going to budge. they continued driving for about 20 minutes until the car stopped and jimin got out.
"um hello?!" serena yelled when jimin got out. "what about me?"
he didn't answer so she just sat in the car with her arms crossed until he came back. some time later, she heard the car door open and felt jimin taking off her blindfold.
"finally! where are we-." she started but stopped when she looked around at where they were.
jimin smiled as she watched her eyes widen at the sight in front of her.
"do you remember?" he asked.
"of course i remember!" she hopped out the car and hugged jimin tightly. "it's the flower park you took me to for our first date."
jimin hugged her back and kissed the top of her head lightly. "i know how much you liked it the first time, so i brought you back!"
"come on then!" she grabbed his hand and pulled him into the park. they were greeted by all the colorful flowers as they found a place to sit.
they sat down for a minute is comfortable silence, admiring the array of colorful flowers before jimin broke the silence.
"you know something serena?" she hummed in response. "me and you meeting was like serendipity."
serena looked up from the flowers and furrowed her brows. "what is a serendipity?"
he chuckled before intertwining their fingers together. "serendipity: the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way."
"i met you, accidentally, at one of the lowest points in my life and ever since then i've been better than ever." he explained.
serena looked up at him with tears in her eyes before wrapping her arms around him and laying her head on his shoulders.
