two month had passed since jimin and serena became friends. they talked everyday almost all day, they were pretty much inseparable.
"where are you going?" namjoon asked after looking up from his phone after staring at it for god knows how long.
jimin ran his hand through his now orange hair. "To see serena!"
namjoon groaned obnoxiously. "you and this girl. i'm starting to think that you like her more than me."
"don't worry, joon. you'll always be my main chick." jimin teasingly said.
"i better."
jimin rolled his eyes. "anyways, i gotta go but i'll talk to you later." they said their goodbyes and he walked out the door.

jimin drove down to the starbucks feeling a little nervous. he didn't only want to go to see serena, he had something very important to ask her. throughout the two months of their friendship he had developed a crush on her and he wanted to ask her out. but due to scars from past relationships, he was scared that he wouldn't be able to.
when he walked inside the starbucks, he saw serena standing behind the cash register talking to a light skin girl with green highlights. He assumed that to be her friends, alana.
"hello?" he said in a lower pitched voice, so she wouldn't recognize him.
she whipped her head around quickly. "hello welcome to starbucks how may i-jimin?"
"oh jimin?" alana asked. "isn't that the dude who you said you-" but she quickly stopped talking when serena elbowed her in the shoulder.
"anyways, what are you doing here? you never told me you were coming."
"i wanted to see if maybe you would like to hang out after you're done with work?"
"awww!" alana swooned in the background. "y'all are so cute I can't!"
serena rolled her eyes before turning back to jimin. "i get off in 30 minutes, you think you can wait that long?"
he nodded and sat down at one of the many tables. he scrolled through his socials and just like she said, serena walked up to him 30 minutes later.
"aight, i'm done so what are we gonna do?" she asked in a sing-song voice.
"are you down for another walk?" he raised a brow and she smiled widely.
"of course!" they exchanged their goodbyes with alana before walking out of the restaurant. when they stepped out, the cool breeze flowed through their hair.

after walking for about 10 minutes, serena turned around to face jimin while walking backward.
she ran a hand through her curly hair before speaking. "i feel like you have to tell me something, so spill."
he raised his brow. "i do, but what gave you that impression?"
"i catch you side eyeing me, sir."
he chuckled at her calling him 'sir'. "well you right, but I don't know how you would react."
"just say it!" she urged him. "it can't be that bad."
"do you wanna go out? like on a date?"
she stared at him before smiling widely. "i would love too!"
he raised his brow again. "really?"
"yeah!" she said like it was obvious.
"alright, how about saturday at 6:00?" he offered and she nodded.
"sounds good. i'll see you later I guess." they waved goodbye to each other, before walking their separate ways.
