Hello! So with a little bit of a reader's clarity, this chapter is going to be in third person and is about the N.W.O labs from the first chapter. Fun Fact 1: The proto in the book cover is me! Yay!
"Okay! So where the hell did the little test subject go?" Deviate demanded while slamming his fists into the wall
"Test Subject 3 AKG was possibly taken, or lost." Replied the employee
"Now explain, how can you lose, or get a highly valuable asset stolen from this lab. I am already stressed out enough about us being defunded already, this is not helping at all."
"I don't know, Mr.Glacier walked clock in minutes before AGK 3 disappeared."
"Let me get something through your thick visor, Mr.Glacier passed away 3 months ago. He couldn't have been in here, do you even have a description of what the proto looks like?"
"Uh, 6"2ish... Looks 45 and has a red visor."
"Do you realize how little that narrows that down? Little to nothin, without that kid, our mining operation is in grave danger."
"I honestly don't know where in the damn hell that kid is."
Deviate, looking quite desperate, started to interview everyone else in the whole facility. All of them said one of these things
I wasn't here that day.
I was with my family.
I was in a different room.
Huh? What are you talking about escaping?
Deviate, now becoming desperate, started trying to find answers, overheard another.
"Well, from what I heard it was Viger." Whimpered a employee while he sipped on some beverage
Deviate ran towards the employee after hearing that, hands crossed.
"Viger? I thought he was dead." Deviate replied a bit more calmly with a bit of a confused face
"Same here, but the information shown including his serial code was seen a lot this year."
"What can we possibly do?"
"Well, knowing you, we may have to find and kill the test subject."
"Well, I already thought about that and we are going to go through with that."
"Wait, really?"
"Well yes, he is our property and if we have to we will kill him, no matter what we can't let him get away and possibly share knowledge about our plans like one of the others did already."
"Anything you need to do boss.."
Deviate proceeded to go behind the employee and opened a panel on the wall, which had a 6 inch hunters knife in it.
"We can't just let him go scott free." Deviate said to himself after grabbing the knife and started walking to the entrance and exiting.
The worker was worried, he honestly didn't want the kid getting hurt. He knew he had to do something about it.
The worker in a last ditch effort, called one of his friends named Zap.
Next chapter will continue with Zap's background and the finisher of this basically two part chapter.
