Jisoo didn't have a chance to even move from her astonishment as Jennie already ran fast to the gurney and the group of med personal.
She quickly made her way avoiding everyone on her way to see the face of the person, she didn't need much, a simple glance could tell whether it was Lisa or not. She did know her friend well, she knew every detail.
And a glimpse it was, as one of the nurses got out of the way, Jennie could finally see the figure, but not face, and the short, black hair of the person. The last thing that proved her right was small, almost invisible mark on the girl's neck. Angel mark.
It was indeed Lisa.
The floor under Jennie's feet started to blur, she was fast enough to support herself from falling clutching on the wall but not fast enough to catch any of the nurses to ask whether or not her friend is going to wake up at all.
So she closed her eyes which lasted a fair second and ran even faster after the med personal and as if on a magic cue, one of the nurses, the very one who was previously describing the state of the patient, stopped her abruptly.
"Miss, are you okay?"
She took a second to look at the direction where Jennie was running, "do you know that woman?"
"Yes!" Jennie's vision blurred already because of the tears, "how is..how is s-she?"
"I'm not in the position to answer this, are you a family member?" The nurse gently asked still holding weak small frame of Jennie's.
It took a moment for Jennie to realize what to do, it was simple as math and she finally knew why Lisa introduced herself like that when they first met months ago. For If there ever would be an emergency.
"I'm her best friend." Jennie glanced over her shoulder at the four woman who were making their way to her.
"And the blonde girl is her sister, Park Chaeyoung."

The nurse didn't even blinked, she looked at Chaeyoung and nodded.
"She is relatively good, the traumas are not fatal." She quickly explained. "May I ask your name and the name of the patient, your sister?" The nurse asked Chaeyoung fished out a small notebook.
The blonde froze on the place and connected her gaze with Jennie's, but after a few seconds she realized what the smaller girl planned.
"My name is Park Chaeyoung, your patient's name is Lisa Manoban - Park, my half sister."
Soyejin cleared her throat still being slightly unsure of what kind of situation the younger women were creating, but she only tagged on Chae's sleeve for assurance that her daughter knew what she was playing with.
Chaeyoung felt hazy but met her mother's eyes nevertheless. She nodded, 'I know what I'm doing'.
"I need your ID, Ms.Park" The nurse interrupted their silent dialog. And here was the role of Soyejin, who had all the IDs in her purse, and who...
Elegantly opened it and fished out Chaeyoung's ID, and showed to the nurse.
Chae internally smiled, her mother did trusted her after all.
"Okay, we found no documents with your sister and you need to bring her ID if you have them." The nurse stated monotonously. She wrote something down on a piece of paper and gave it to Chaeyoung. "As for now, this will allow you to see her after the operation."
Chaeyoung nodded and thanked the nurse, still feeling that pain which was growing. Jennie immediately noticed it. She came closer to Chaeyoung and supported her with her arm. Their eyes met and they clicked as to what, who and where, they only didn't know why.
Jennie looked up at Soyejin and met her eyes,
"I'm incredibly thankful for what you did, Mrs. Park. Lisa is..."
Soyejin shook her head and waved.
"I know that Lisa is best friend of all of you and I'm aware that she has no parents. So I understood what you did here. My only hope is that your friend will be fine soon, and please, do not explain yourself to me, I know bad intentions when I see them, and all of you," Soyejin looked at Chae, Joy, Jisoo and lastly Jennie. "All of you have good intentions. You care for the girl and that's plausible."
Jennie breathed out and gently hugged the blonde in her arms.
"Thank you."
"No problem, as for now let's return our baby home." Soyejin took Chae's hand and squeezed it assuringly. "I promise that we'll return to see Lisa after you rest."
"And I will stay here, anyway." Jisoo added quietly and glanced at Chae, she tried her best to heal the blonde but was too occupied with plannind and preparing to help Lisa, whatever that help might be. And God, was she planning to use all the powers she had to heal Lisa, so she needed to get herself together.
Chaeyoung, who already felt nauseous, agreed quickly.

Jennie watched Chaeyoung sleeping and quietly hummed to herself, it was her way of calming. She needed something that could distract her, but every time her eyes's gaze fell onto the sleeping blonde she couldn't help but see Lisa before her eyes.
Jisoo stayed at the hospital and informed them that everything was better, and surprisingly so because she didn't even have any document with her to visit Lisa, but Jennie doubted there were anything that could stop her.
The Brunette had so many ways to get there, she could even became invisible for everyone but one she wanted to see her. So, what was the problem?
Jennie closed her eyes, listening closely to her pumping heart, she was tense and her body felt stiff. She knew what's the problem, she wanted to chain the blonde to herself, never ever letting her go again and that was suffocating to say the least. It seemed that she returned to the day 1, where all thoughts scattered, her life scattered and she didn't have a chance to say how much she needed and loved her,
Her own self,
her calmness.
But it's not the case now.
Now, Jennie took what life was giving to her, not chasing her mirages. Now, it felt freer. Cleaner and more mature, the kind of mature that you became not because you get older, rather life's circumstances teach you to be wiser.
With that, the chest of the girl felt not so burdensome, with that she inhaled not sharply but slowly and consciously. With that the girl got up and gently took her jacket in one hand, she made her way to the blonde in the bed and and her fingertips traced the warm skin on her exposed arm.
With that, Jennie thanked Soeyjin again while going out of the house and, with that....
The fresh, warm summer night's air met her like the bestest friend, in their arms.
Well, maybe, after all, it was her?
She was her own self, her own happiness.
