The sky grey-ish and the chilling wind were not at all disturbing, but rather giving to the atmosphere a right vibe.

It was going to rain sooner or later so staying outside the bedroom on the balcony felt like a plausable choice of spending remaining time. Lisa watched the birds chirping and flying from tree to tree only to move all over again and smiled to herself about something that poped up in her mind. Her elbows were casually leaning on the trail of the balcony, her hands under her chin as she closed her eyes, breathing in the smell of the soon to be rain.

She couldn't help but let her mind wander, her thoughts floating and changing, but soon the more and more real shape of image materialized, then her thoughts scattered and mind tried to take a better grasp, but, it eventually vanished.

Nevertheless the afterglow remained.

It had the aroma of lavande, the light purple colour and heart shaped smile. All of these were real, if not for the fact that Jisoo was in the bathroom, taking a shower and it couldn't be possible for Lisa to smell, to see or to touch any of it, in the meantime, that is.

Back in the material world, the thing that startled Lisa first was honk of a car, the secong time was a half muffled shout and something resembling a good old banter. Breathing in the rainy air one more time, Lisa decided to go downstairs, making sure to leave fresh clothes that she prepared for Jisoo, because Lisa knew the brunette liked her clothes on the bed after shower. (Or maybe it was just that Jisoo forgets to take any beforehand).

The one way or another, after the last glimpse and a strong feeling of inner contentment Lisa went downstairs to see what it is like there. Her home, after all, became so much more alive than before.

Jennie looked up at the stairs as she heard some kind of noise but was met with nothing.

Her hands were cutting, choping and stirring, preparing the big breakfast almost authamatically, as if, or rather because, she has done it every single morning since she and Jisoo became so close that neither of them could imagine living without the other. She finally focused on the salad and was immediately startled, her hand releasing the knife from shock, by the loudest honk she had ever heard in her entire life. She calmed her madly pumping heart and eventually went outside composed, ready to met whoever it was.

But, her frown disappeared and lips started tugging up smiling as she saw Rosie who guiltily met her gaze.

Joy rolled her eyes and after a quick nod and wink she shared with Jennie, went to the back of the car to get something from the trunk.

"You tried to drive here yourself, isn't it?" Jennie brushed their hands together holding Rosie's thumbs and caressing the rest of the palm with her fingers.

"I didn't just try, I did drive here by myself." Rosie smiled sheepishly, her eyes conveyed a jolt of pride that she felt at this moment. "Joy, of course, helped me a bit."

Jennie lips quivered as she tried to hold back the big smile that threathened to come out. The proud spark in her eyes though said more than she could, making Rosie step in closer almost awkwardly if not for the love Jennie saw in those warm brown orbs. If something, awkward or rather shy was Rosie's second name, Jennie just couldn't help but feel closer to the blonde in those moments, the one of many things that Rosie could teach her, Jennie thought, was to be able to let it go, to show the vulnerability just for the one before her.

Rosie could be shy or awkward or sometimes embarrassed, but she never was ashamed of the way she is, she displayed everything in herself, never painting it black or white and was unapologatically confident about it. Unapologatically herself. How would she feel, Jennie asked herself sometimes, if she could do the same?

But looking into the eyes of the girl before her, Jennie could think only about two things.

Brave and free.

She would feel brave and free.

Lisa slowed down her pace and stopped, her hand on the trail of the stairs. She hesistated to speak up and couldn't bring herself to just go down the stairs.

Her eyes curiously watched the kitchen or rather the two whispering people in there, one smiling widely and the other's face wasn't seen because she stood with her back turned to Lisa.

More than ever Lisa felt ashamed of her sudden departure. Even though she didn't have any control over it nor she wanted it, but she felt sorry for being such a big distraction for Jennie and Chaeyoung. It felt as if it was all about her and not them. And it was, after all, them who bring Lisa here. What if, Lisa asked herself, they had never met?

She remembered Pranpriya, as silly as it was to remember yourself in third person. She would say something like;

"There is no what ifs, babygirl. God makes no mistakes even though sometimes people think it does."

Lisa shivered as cold hand brushed against her shoulder, her eyes darted at the direction of the movement and her heart started its usual exercise, beating as fast as it could beside Jisoo.

"They are meant for each other, Don't you think?" Jisoo brought Lisa's hand up and sneaked under it, pressing her back to Lisa's chest. She kissed taller girl's hand and felt Lisa pressing her lips to her bare shoulder.

Lisa caught Jisoo's gaze and held it, her full lips parting slightly. She smiled.

"We all were meant to happen, weren't we?"

And this time around, It was Jennie and Rosie who watched both of them discreetly.

Jennie with her heart full of happiness, and Rosie with both fondness and shyness as she saw her unnie and Lisa warmly kiss each other, aware or unaware of them.

Her eyes met Jennie's and she breathed out, full of determenation. She leaned closer, her blonde hair brushing her cheeks and Jennie caught her own breath, watching the beautiful younger and closed her eyes shortly, anticipating the feeling of these soft lips against her own.

"Damn it. I knew that being the fifth wheel it's something." Joy smiled gently staying at the porch and seeing the four girls.

She laughed out loud after seeing Chaeyoung press her lips quickly against Jennie's cheek and running away from her own embarassment leaving the cat-eyed girl with her cheeks flushed and eyes sparkling angry.

"Park Chaeyoung!"

The house now was filled with laughter and warm lighthearted banter.

Joy placed down a little bonsai tree she brought with her as a present, and fished out her buzzing phone. She smiled warmly as the call read Yeri.

Joy went out whispering Hello and closed her eyes as the wind caressed her cheeks the same way the caller's voice caressed her heart.

The little inscription on the bonsai's pot read:
