Unfortunately I had to go to work today, I wasn't really looking forward to it. I had a feeling that Ali would be there and so would that jerk Shiro. I left my house and started walking towards the train station. I looked around, catching a shot of the people around me. The butcher, the flower man and his wife smiling there day away. I walked past a little park and watched the kids play. It reminded me of how I used to play like that at the park I used to play in as a kid. Just the thought of that park gave me the chills...more like shivers.
I had a feeling that I was forgetting something, but I couldn't really put my finger on it. 'Whatever' I said to myself. I just kept walking up the stairs to the strain station. When I made it up, guess who saw. Yup it was Ali, glad that she didn't notice me but today she looks sort of depressed. She had bags under her dark brown eyes, her hair was fizzled and her clothes were wrinkled. It looked as if she just threw it on her without a care. I sort of feel bad for her, but i don't know why.
The train doors open and I walk in. I made sure I was far away as possible from Ali. I watched her every move and how she shifted in her seat every five minutes. You might be thinking that I'm a stalker, truth is in just looking out for my friend.
It wasn't until she didn't get off until she missed her stop. She got off the train and and started walking absentmindedly. I trailed her down till she stopped in front of an old school building. Why would she stop here? Doesn't she know she has work?
"You can come out now Sarah, there's no point in hiding, I know you were following me." She said staring blankly at the vines growing out the the old rusted windows.
"If you knew I was following you, why didn't you let me know?" I asked
"I wanted to bring you here, I wanted you to remember." She replied
"Remember what?"
"You don't know this place?"
"No, it's so old and dirty and ugh" giving a disgusted look.
"Exactly" she muttered giving me the biggest grin I've ever seen. The brightest green light blinded my vision for a second and strong winds blasted on my face. And I find my self deep in the forest. I sit up and I'm surrounded by beast, there was so many I couldn't even count them. They growled and howled and started walking towards me. I couldn't move, I was stuck, I was sinking, like I was in quicksand. I look all over the place hysterically, I see images of Ali in every place, just laughing and grinning. I feel my body tighten more and more, I sink deeper and deeper. She comes up to me slowly, like a tiger getting ready to capture his prey. I scream out in pain as her claw like hand tighten around my neck and the other slowly and painfully stabs me through my back. The blood seeps down my back, staining my white buttoned up shirt with red. As I feel my life sipping away, I look up to the sky. Nothing but black, no stars, no moon it was just empty. My vision blurs and my body becomes numb. It was so cold and dark. Slowly As I sink into the dark cold grassy ground, it all clicked in. I muttered my last few words. Before everything turns dark.
