A name, A face

A Secret

Deep down in the chambers, hidden behind several doors beneath layers upon layers of rock. Laying there in the dirt, silent and afraid, abandoned in chains, covered in scars and blood, concealed behind an iron cage. Unable to move her tortured body.

She whispers.
She screams.
She yells.
And she cries.
But no one hears her.
She's left in the silence.
Alone.
Slowly giving up as each dark day passes.
Giving in to what could be her fate.
Saying goodbye to what she once knew.

...

"I wanna go home"
"I miss the life I had"
"I want to be free"
"Sarah......are you ok?" The girl croaks
And again her only response is silence.
"Somebody help"
...
It's been many days and she has been completely forgotten.
...Spoke to soon
"Well, how you feelin?" A person asks. You could hear its footsteps getting louder and louder as it came closer.
"Like shit" she dully replied
"Aww isn't that too bad? Whatever can i do to help ya out?" It asks
"You can set me free, and let me continue my life as a normal human being."
"What if I said, you weren't .... Exactly human?"
"What do you mean?" She asks
"Oh my, you couldn't have forgotten about that night. Oh what a monster you became. You should have seen the look on poor Sarah's face! It was hilarious!" The person laughed stepping into her view... Well to partially see the person. There was only a dim candle light between the cage and himself.
"You were there?" The girl said shocked
"Oh so you DO remember. And to answer your question ,yes, yes I was there the whole time" he smirked, crossing his arms and leaning against the stone wall.
"And you thought it was ok to watch her nearly die?!"
"Hey you can't exactly blame me, I was just there, YOUR the one who lured her to the park."
"I had no control" she growled
"Eh, still." He shrugged "I'll be back....in a few days. Don't get to comfortable, have fun." He said and walked off. "Ugh what a pig" she said once he was fully out of sight and of earshot.
