'Paperworks, paperworks, paperworks, great the only thing I need.' I say in my head. The boss just had to give me the spare paperwork I missed for the past week, damn he didn't even acknowledge that I came back from a very painful experience. "Hey Sarah, sorry about earlier I didn't know you wasn't going out with him." James said scratching the back of his neck.
"It's ok, you didn't know." I replied back, starting my work again. He just sighs and walks away.
Ofter the long day of signing and reading paperwork I started heading back home. It was dark outside, this time there was Stars and the moon was out...well more like half of it. The walk back home was pretty long considering the fact that I should've took the train instead. "Some how this is giving me a déjà u, I feel like I've done this before."
"Maybe you have maybe you haven't, it could just be another one of your dreams." A strange man says hiding behind the thick tree. Half of his figure is swallowed by the shadows and the other half sticking out. I didn't turn around to see who it was, because I had a pretty good feeling that I knew exactly who the strange person was, guessing from the voice, but it sounds a little deeper than I'd remember, and how it just pops out of nowhere like it's been stalking you.
"Shiro what do you want this time?"
I say, still having my back towards the person, standing stiff as a rock.
"Oh I'm not Shiro...long time no see Sarah." It says. My eyes widen in realization, I get even more tense, my heart starts pumping more blood. Somehow the air gets cooler, giving me chills. I can feel him standing behind me, breathing down my neck, His stone cold hands caressing my left arm. I try to move away but I'm stuck in place, like someone pressed pause and froze me into one scene. I whimpered as he slowly and painfully pierces my back with his long nails, in the same area where my former wound was. Blood trickles down my back, 'damn the worst day to wear red' I say in thought. "What do you want with me?" I ask biting my lip to keep myself from showing pain.
It doesn't move, or say anything.
"Why are you here?"
"What happened on both those nights?"
"Why am I the target?"
I keep asking questions until finally I cry out in pain.
"You are weak...fragile...you don't have the strength to fight, you tense up easily, you get scared easily ...your...not worth anything." It says coldly I can feel his icy glare from behind me. I still stayed there, silent, my back towards him. What it said next, made me shocked to the bone.
"Sarah I want you to......
