As I cry my self to sleep, a soft hand rubs up and down my back, slowly comforting me.
"what's wrong why are you crying? Did that boy do something?" the person asked
"No he didn't, just-just something that came up, i-i don't think I can handle it.
"tell me what's wrong honey" the person asked again.
"He told me my best friend Ali died that night, she shot herself, it's all my fault, I should have just asked for help when I needed, I don't mean to push her away. So technically I killed her... I'm such a horrible person." I replied covering my eyes for the next wave of tears to run down my cheeks. She hands me a tissue, to wipe them off and helps me up to the bathroom to clean my face full of dried salted tears.
"trust me, everything will be alright, just at least try to rest, your scheduled to be realeased tomorrow. So try to get some sleep.
I just nodded, strolled to the bed and let my self fall for another set of wild dreams and a river of tears. The next morning I wake up, the sun shines through the window, blinding me for a minute before the nurse comes in and closes the shade a bit.
"Well you'll be leaving today, hope you got some good sleep cuz you got a heck of a trip ahead of you." she smiles. ' oh great' I say in my head. I get up from the bed and get changed. After the hour and a half changing I pack my bag and head down stairs. A little yellow cab waited for me as I left the hospital.
"Ahh fresh air" I moan stretching my arms in the air, loosening my muscles for the first time in ages. Now it's just time to go home. I get in the cab and make my way back home base.
