A name, A face

Next day

I woke up with beads of sweat dripping down my face. Was it just a dream,was it real?, I don't know. I got up from bed and got ready for work. I wasn't really thinking about what time it was so I took it slowly. As I began to put my phone into my purse it rang.
"Hello?" It was my friend Ali.
"Hey what's takin you so long your gonna be late for work and I'm not gonna help you get out of it, hurry your ass down now!" She said
"Ok,ok chill just give me a sec." I said as I was looking for my coat. "Your 'sec' is over get down now!" Then she hung up. I put on my coat and ran down the stairs, I saw her waiting there in front of my gate.
"Took you long enough"she said while rolling her eyes. We started to walk towards the train station.
We got on the train and sat down. I was still a little shocked up in the dream I had the last night that I didn't even noticed her calling my name.
"Hello,hello,Earth to Sarah." I jumped out of shock.
"Huh, what happened Ali?"
"You where just staring into space, you looked so concentrated on something, is something wrong." Giving me a worried look.
"No,no I'm fine I'm just tried is all." I replied sheepishly
"Ok but remember if something or someone is bothering you, you know you can tell me ok?" I just smiled and said
"Yea I know"
After the ride which felt like forever we got to where I would be working for now on. The place was huge. The exterior reflected the shine the sun had, glassy windows covered it from top to bottom with two glass doors with golden like handles, although in the inside it was a warm and welcoming environment but a little bit dirty and could use a little touch up.
"Hello ladies, how are you today" said a man who was walking towards us.
"Hey Shiro, I'm fine, this is my friend Sarah, Sarah this is Shiro he will be working with us and vise versa."
"It a pleasure to meet you Ms.Sarah" he said with a big smile.
"Um yea nice to meet you too" I said nervously. Why am I so nervous? I'm just meeting this guy who happened to be really cute and who I'm working with.
As I walked away with Ali I couldn't help but notice the little glare he gave me, I tried to pretend he didn't do that. I sat down at my new desk and started filling out the paper work that was handed to me.
"Hey you must be the new girl workin with us, nice to meet you, I'm James what's your name pretty lady?" The boy said walking up to me with a bright smile tugging his lips. "Uh I'm Sarah." I answered. He looked like a kind person to talk to, but not exactly to hang around. I just sat back down and continued what I was doing with the papers. He just repeated my name, like he was trying to practice it and left with that smile. After a few hours Ali came up to me and said.
"Hey how you holdin up with the papers?"
"Oh I'm just fine, I'm almost done though." I replied
"Ok cool, when your done wanna go and get some coffee later?"
"Sure"
"Cool" Ali replied "oh and do you mind if Shiro tags along?"
"Uh um yea,yea sure, he can i don't mind at all." I replied. Damn why does he have to come, one he's cute and two he gave me that glare earlier. I wonder why, did i do something wrong?
The three of us walked towards the coffee shop. We sat down on a table shaped as a circle. I was between Ali and Shiro. 'Great' I said in my head sarcastically
"Ok so let's start a conversation here why don't we, I wanna know a little more about you Sarah." Shiro said giving me a wink and a smirk.
"Yea, well you already know my name, uhh I'm from a little town down south." I said nervously 'what does he wanna know about me?'
"Cool, how did you meet Ali?"
"When I moved her about 10 years ago We met in that old middle school right around the corner."
"Really? Some say it's the most creepiest school here, right behind it is a park, nobody fixed the lights there though, so it's really dim at night." Shiro said with a hint of laughter in his voice.
"Yea I herd of it too, they say people who walk there at night have really bad dreams and something terrible happens to them." Ali replied
"What exactly happens to them" my hands started to sweat and my breathing was going faster by the minute. What's going to happen to me? Did I really walk into the park that night? or did I dream about it?
Ali stood up "They say that A mysterious man comes up behind you and then.... HE SLAUGHTERS YOU IN LESS THAN A SECOND!" she yelled jumping up from her seat. She fixed her self up and said "Hey I'll be right back, I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Then she walked away. Damn I'm stuck with him here, what am I gonna do? I said to myself.
Shiro scooted closer to me, he put his lips to my ear and said "it wasn't a dream, it was real, you can't hide from it, I told you I would find you, thanks to your friend." He snickered and scooted away. Man did he sound hot, but he's a total creep! On the outside, girls would fall for him but now that I know him, I have second thoughts.
"Ok I'm back, what are we gonna do now? Wanna go back to the office?" Ali said walking towards us.
I got up quickly and started towards the door. "Yea lets go, I- I gotta finish paper work anyway." We walked to the office and finished the rest of the day off. I didn't see or hear from Shiro the whole time.
