"Again?" My best friend Jungkook looked up from his phone and groaned as I staggered into the room, holding a huge bunch of red roses. "When will he stop?" I sighed as I rubbed my hand on my forehead. "I don't know, Kook," I answered. "I'm annoyed too,"

We were talking about a guy, more specifically, a guy who had the biggest crush on me. We had gone to the same college before I had dropped out to become an actress. He sent presents every day, chocolates and flowers, necklaces and earrings, you name it. I had rejected him multiple times, but he had claimed her loved me, and that one day I would love him too. I took the card out of the flowers and read it out loud, "To my future wife, I hope these flowers made your day. Your Jae-gyeong,"

Jungkook groaned again. "Future wife? Yours? Who does he think he is?" "I know, right?" "Isn't there anything you can do?" "Do you have any ideas?" "Nope," We both sighed in defeat and slumped onto the sofa.

It was a week and 5 presents later that Jungkook and I were at a cafe, standing at a high table and chatting. I took a sip of my drink. "The movie was so great, right?" "Y/N-ah," he suddenly said. "Are you really not going to do anything about Jae-gyeong?" "I'm wracking my brains, Kookie," I said. "I really can't think of any way to make him back off without hurting him," "Why can't you hurt him?" "I just can't, Kook," I said. "You know how soft I am," "I do know," he looked down. "We'll keep thinking, yeah?" "Yeah!"

When Jungkook had excused himself to go to the washroom, I heard an annoyingly familiar voice. "Hi, Y/Nie!" "Jae-gyeong," I groaned under my breath. "Hi!" I said in a false excited voice. "How are you?" "I'm fine," he said, obviously thrilled I had asked him. "Did you like the presents I sent you the last few days?" "They were lovely, thank you," I said through gritted teeth. "But I'd prefer it if you didn't spend so much money on me," "Oh, it's nothing!" He smiled (kind of creepily) and asked, "So will you be my girlfriend yet?"

Jungkook, who had been watching from afar, suddenly walked over and back hugged me, winding his arms around my waist and resting his head on my shoulder. "I'm sorry, but she has a boyfriend," he smirked. I looked at him, shocked, but then played along, "Hi, baby," I said sweetly. "This is Jae-gyeong," "The one who sends you presents every day? Oh, hello," he said. "I don't blame you for liking my Y/N, she's really such a perfect girl, so pretty and kind, she's definitely the best girlfriend ever," I leaned my head on Jungkook's and smiled at Jae-gyeong. "It was nice seeing you, Jae-gyeong," "Yes, we have to go now,"

We walked out of the shop, his arm still around my waist as Jae-gyeong stared after us until we were well away from the place and I gently removed his hand. "Why did you do that?" "So he would back off and stop annoying you!" "You're not even my boyfriend!" I hissed. Jungkook smiled softly and pulled my hand, making me fall forwards, then kissed me. After he pulled away, he said smugly, "I am now,"
