I slowly opened my eyes, ready to see Jungkook staring at me with his messy hair like he normally was. But I woke up to an empty pillow. I frowned, rubbing my eyes and sitting up in bed, already in a bad mood because I hadn't gotten my morning kiss yet.

I grabbed my phone off the bedside table and pattered into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and did my skincare routine while listening to music, still half asleep, then leaned on the counter and opened my eyes properly. I noticed I was wearing Jungkook's shirt. I smiled, remembering the night before when he had thrown it at me, blushing.

I scrolled through my Instagram as I walked out of our bedroom and down the stairs, realizing it was Valentine's day. I heard Jungkook humming as I approached the kitchen, and set my phone down on the dining table. I stood at the doorway of the kitchen and watched Jungkook. He had his back turned to me, and he was making pancakes, shirtless but wearing an apron. I smiled, and my bad mood vanished, just like that.

I crept up behind him and back-hugged him, pressing a kiss against his shoulder. "Happy valentine's day, baby," he said, putting the last pancake onto a plate and turning around.
He kissed me, smiling as my arms wound around his neck. After he pulled away, he ran into his office and came back, hiding something behind his back. "What is it, Kookie?" I asked him. Jungkook took his hand from behind him and extended his arm, revealing a black box. I took it from him and opened it to find a beautiful silver charm bracelet.

I gasped and looked up at Jungkook, and h just smiled smugly, knowing taking advice from my brother Jin was the right choice. The biggest charm was a locket, and I opened it to find a picture of us taken on our one-year anniversary, at the beach. He was piggybacking me, laughing as I kissed his cheek.
I ran into Jungkook's arms and squeezed him tightly. Then I looked up at him. "I love you, Jeon Jungkook," He leaned down and pecked my lips. "I love you too, Y/F/N,"
