I laid in bed, pouting. Drinking iced coffee at dinner really hadn't been the best choice. I was sleeping over at BTS's dorm, on the floor of my brother Jin's room. I decided to go to the kitchen and get some water, which would hopefully help me fall asleep. I tiptoed out of the room, cringing as the floorboards creaked under my feet.

When I finally got to the kitchen, I sighed in relief and turned on the light of the island. I went over to the refrigerator and got myself some water. I leaned on the kitchen table as I sipped it, enjoying the silence and thinking of ways to make myself fall asleep. Then a dark figure appeared at the doorway and walked towards me. I jumped in fright. Then the figure stepped into the light. "Oh, Jungkook," I laughed. "You nearly scared me to death," "Ahh, sorry," he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his neck with one hand.

"So you couldn't fall asleep either?" I asked. "Mhm," he nodded and sat down across from me. "I had something on my mind," "Oh really?" I raised my eyebrows. "Cool," I said, refraining from questioning what, or who, was on his mind. We chatted for a while, then went back to our rooms. I waved to him one last time, then entered Jin's room.

"Ugh," I groaned an hour later. I still couldn't fall asleep. Usually, at home, I would have all my plushies to cuddle. But there was nothing for me to cuddle here. "Oppa," I called softly. "Oppa," But Jin ignored me, still fast asleep. "Hmph," I frowned. Then another person came to my mind. I was nervous that he would say no to cuddling, even if I was his best friend. But I decided to risk being embarrassed and possibly leaving an awkward dent in our friendship (me and my big decisions), and walked along the hallway to his room.

At his door, I hesitated again, but knocked softly, thinking that he was probably asleep. But he called, "Come in!" So I slowly opened the door and crept inside. Jungkook was laying in bed staring at the ceiling, and he looked over at me. "Oh, Y/N-ah!" I laughed awkwardly, then popped the question.

"Um, I wanted to-- I mean, I wanted to ask-- I mean, I did want to, I mean-- ugh!" I failed miserably. Jungkook laughed and looked me in the eye. "Calm down, what is it?" "I couldn't fall asleep still," I said quietly. "I need something -- or someone-- to cuddle, and Oppa was out cold," Jungkook looked shook (Jungshook, if you will😏) and stuttered, "Um, that's a bit--" "It's okay if you don't want to!" I said quickly, turning to go. "Sorry!" "Wait!" Jungkook called. "I want to-- I mean, I don't mind," Jungkook moved to the right side of the bed, leaving some space for me.

"Thank you, Kookie," I sighed. I got under his covers, feeling kind of weird, and just laid down close to the edge of the bed. But he had, apparently, gained confidence, and opened his arms expectantly. "I thought you wanted to cuddle?" "Um, yeah," I shifted closer to him, and he pulled me into his embrace. We were both a bit stiff and embarrassed at first, but I gradually relaxed into his arms and started drifting off to sleep.

The next day, I woke up in the same position I had fallen asleep in, but when I gently removed his arms and turned around to get out of bed, I found the rest of the members staring at us. "Oh my gosh!" I fell back onto my back, losing my balance and bumping into Jungkook. He wasn't fully awake, so he whined and pulled me closer. "Jungkook!" I whisper-shouted, pulling on his sleeve. "Jeon Jungkook!"

"Huh?" he grunted. Then he opened his eyes and saw our audience and sprang away from me, out of bed. "What were you guys doing? Y/F/N, why are you in Jungkook's bed?" Jin asked us sternly. "Oppa, we weren't doing anything, just--" "Nope, I don't want to hear it," Jin said, pulling me out from under the blanket. "As your brother, I am very concerned about your ability to protect yourself, and I am inclined to not let you speak to any other male human being for the rest of your life," "What? Oppa, that's--" "Nope, that's my final decision," Jin said determinedly as he pulled me away and Jungkook and the other members stared after me with sorry eyes.
