Right as the lunch bell rang signaling the end of the short break, the storage room by the hallway abruptly opened, revealing a disheveled Carrie in the process of buttoning her shirt. The students who happened to be in the said hallway looked at her with judgement, whispering to themselves.

Carrie raised an eyebrow, smirks, and looked at one of the girls up and down. "Wanna go in later?"

The girl scrunched her face. "Eew. Stay away from me slut."

Unperturbed, Carrie only laughs and casually strolled to the gym for her next class.

Physical education was going to be the death of her

Physical education was going to be the death of her. Isabelle inwardly dreaded the class. It took too much energy and to be honest, she doesn't think she needs any exercise. She's perfectly fit already, they should really make an exception for people like her.

Still, being the poster student that she is supposed to be, she soldiered on and went out of the locker room after changing.

Some of her classmates already started their laps around the gym and one particular girl caught her eyes. Her sight followed Robin who was running around with a light up sneakers, probably catching everyone's attention too. It was too distracting for Isabelle that she barely noticed that she had been staring longer than acceptable. She shook her head, chuckling to herself, eyes still watching the idiot run around with her sparkling shoes.

Oh how she wished to be able to just run around without care in the world. But reputation calls and a mayor's daughter can't be seen goofing around. And so Isabelle sighed before trudging to the start of the line and starting her laps.

Robin chugged the blue energy drink that she keeps in her locker

Robin chugged the blue energy drink that she keeps in her locker. Physical education is just not it. Panting heavily while throwing the empty bottle in the nearest rubbish bin, Robin noticed a certain dark haired girl staring at her shoes. "What? Jealous?"

Isabelle raises an eyebrow at the girl in front of her.

"Look" Robin stomped her foot, making her right shoe light up. "I'll light up your world just like that." With her signature goofy smile and eyes that almost disappear with it, she proudly winked at the student council president.

"Do I get to stomp on you first?"

Tilting her head to the right, Robin took a step towards the other girl, creating a minimal gap between the two of them. "Bring it on, baby."

Isabelle raises an eyebrow and leans even closer. Barely an inch is separating their lips and so Robin gasped, flushed and wide eyed.

"That's what I thought." With a smirk at the frozen girl, Isabelle turned around and left.

That was a completely unexpected response from the student council president. For as far as Robin knows, Isabelle would usually just roll her eyes, scoff, and leave. What was that all about?

Her heart was still beating fast when she noticed Yohan passing by, stopping and giving her a look.

Squinting her eyes, Robin composed herself, crossing her arms as she watched her ex's eyes travel down to her shoes that were still lighting up. "What?"

"That's cute."

The brunette scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "Nobody asked for your opinion, Yohan."

Yohan merely raises her hands up before walking out, laughing. The two had been playfully bantering ever since they broke up and although it may seem like they went from lovers to frenemies, there was no denying that both still held affection for each other, though the intensity is debatable.
