The piercing glares of those humans who he despised were a feeling he couldn't foretell. Most of them are terrified, despite the calm attitude from the outside. It was rather amusing for the demon, but, the shackles that bound him from the spot irritates his entire being. Even though the shackles are as easy as a twig, he is better to be safe than sorry; dare he does not disappoint further his siblings and father.

How did it come to this? Rin thought, slowly dozing off from reality as the Gregori spoke and the rest listened. Each word that has uttered from the humans had resounded to silence, just as he preferred.

"We're sorry..."

The bitter feeling had risen from his relaxation.

The bitter bile has risen from the deepest core of his memories; he recalls how painfully relived the exwires are. He had been so naive that he had thought those exwires would at least give him a chance to...change up a bit; his plans, attitude, and relationship with them. But no, they were as cruel as they were before he had died as a human. They are the same as before, same ol' pals that are no different from demons that hid behind the flesh of mortals–

Why was he so utterly bitter with this? Isn't this supposed to be proof of them being aware around him? He should've expected their tactical play, it is his fault, to begin with as he had fooled around during his stay.

"Rin..." Amaimon reached to ease his lover; shoulders a bit too tensed and the Baal felt pity, yet the demon moved away with his head on tow. Amaimon frowned, guilt bloomed as he listened to the declaration of the Vatican.

"Why." Rin did not mean to be a question, he merely utters that word as his plan for execution, but why did it turn out to be the opposite?

"Just..." Suguro started, looking away as the exorcists take him away.

"Y-you were trying to k-kill u-u-us..." Miwa stuttered, hiding behind Shima as the pink-haired boy stared at him with sympathy.

Rin mentally laughed bitterly, how was he seen through? Was it through his tactless actions? His threats upon the spy? The foreplay he had done? What was it?– it had circulated Rin's mind of how he had become careless.

Yukio from afar smiled so sinisterly. He smiles like MephistoSamael, similar to whenever the clown likes to tamper his mood. Oh, how he wished to wipe the smile.

"Are you listening?!" Angel thrust his blade upon Rin's left leg, pleased as a hiss erupted from the young demon.

Amaimon snarled, only to be held back as a hand gripped at his shoulder blade. He glared at the older demon, passing a silent message before Mephisto shakes his head in disapproval. Thus, leaving the King of Earth to his fuming bottle.

"Stand up, demon."

Rin followed. He does not wish another blade through his leg after all, and he does not want them to ruin the tranquility of his mind.

One of the Gregori whispered to the middle one, three of them passed a whisper and Rin was quite glad for what they have decided.

"Under our solemn promise with this demon–" they pointed at Mephisto, who is not happy as Rin had thought. "–we have decided it is for the best to fulfill your mission, however–"

"My mission is about to kill certain students of yours, you sure you lots are in the right mind?" Rin interrupted, he does not want another wanted poster of him just because he was allowed to kill and has not seen the side of his story.

One of the Gregori fumbled with their words, utterly disrespected and being seen as a fool for not overlooking a life would be in exchange. However, the one at the center raises their hand to silence the other. "We are aware of this mission. Thus, we, and Johann Faust, agreed and changed a bit of this...killing mission."
