Chapter 15

                     Sophia POV

After we'd watched Zerrick walk back out from under our fence his blood still on the ground from Chad, I looked at my pack. Everyone had a different expression, some scared some excited in the event that Zerrick did decide to come back. There's one piece I forgot I mentioned and that was he's my brother. Gemma came up to me with this face of almost disappointment. 

"You're telling me he's your brother and neither you or Luke decided to just not mention it?" I gave her a wolf grin chuckling awkwardly 

"My mom and dad had gone through some stuff before we got stuck into here and I'm sure you can figure out the rest."

I didn't know what everyone else thought. I gave a very vague explanation to Gemma and I'm hoping the rest of the pack members understand and go with it. I slowly walked to my rock knowing Chad was close in tow along with Luke. Didn't they understand I just wanted to be alone at the moment?

"Sophia we know you need to be alone but this is serious and we gotta talk about it." I hear my brother's voice behind me. With a heavy sigh I turned around to see them both looking at me with a mixture of emotion. Chad was the first to speak up.

"I don't even know how he got out of the zoo he was in. I'm assuming he didn't do any work. But now he knows the paths ways to get around the keepers! He could attack in the middle of the night and we would be caught off guard." I shook my head. 

"Chad honestly yes you're right about everything you just said. We can have some of the wolves take shifts at night maybe 4 hours at a time. We can even have a signal for when anyone gets even just a hint of his scent." I looked at both my brother and my mate with confidence. "This time when he comes back if he comes back we'll be prepared."

                   Zerrick POV

Chad that stupid wolf I thought as I limped back to the zoo I now called home. But it wasn't home to me. Home was anywhere Sophia was and obviously she wasn't there so it's not home. I was hoping to make it back before sunrise and so far I've been making good time considering the blood is slowly dripping out of my neck. Just before sunrise I had gotten back to the zoo. Slipping under the hole the pups dug out for me I let out a low growl. One of the females I think her name was Daisy came to my aid as soon as she saw me. 

"Oh my gosh Zerrick! Are you okay? What happened?!" I was bombarded with stupid questions I growled lowly and looked at her with a dark chuckle. 

"Obviously Daisy I didn't get what I wanted did I? Did I come back with Sophia? No. Do I now have a powerful wolf baring my pups? No. So does right now seem like the best time to ask my stupid questions?" 

"No sir." She held her head down and walked away sulking. 

I only got to lay down for about 15 minutes and the zookeeper's came to check everyone out. When they saw me they took me into the back and gave me some weird shot and everything was black.

Hello? I don't know where the inspiration came for this one. But A LOT has changed since I last updated this. Other than severe depression. I became a mother on August 21st 2020. And it hasn't been easy. In the nicu for a couple months and still not home. But hopefully in the next week or so ill know more! If some of you actually have read this please please leave some chapter ideas in the comments!! Itll make it easier for me to write chapters!! Thank you guys and I'm so so sorry for the short chapter after all this time.
