"Sophia you're my mate..."
When these words had came out of his mouth. I-I thought I was crazy, I honestly thought I was dreaming. I stood there thinking about the words that had just come out of his mouth.
"Sophia please say something."
"I-...I don't know what to say. I've heard of mates, but I've only thought that it was a bunch a fairy tales. Now that it's happening, I don't know Chad. I need time to think about it."
Then I was the one to walk off leaving him speechless. If I had to be honest deep down when I first met Chad, I felt I loved him, but I just thought that it was because I liked him. But we're mates? Now that's something I would have never have thought of. I went to go find my mother, thank god she wasn't sleeping.
"Sophia, what's wrong?"
"Mom, you know how you said mates were just...fairy tales?"
"Yes I did, why are asking?"
"I found my mate, and Tyler found his last night."
She looked at me with an excited but concerned look. "Who is it?" she asked with such joy in her voice.
"You know the black and white male wolf? Tylers friend Chad?...That's my mate."
"Oh Sophia, i'm so happy for you!"
"Really?" I was suprised she wasent yelling at me. "I thought you would be mad at me."
"Of course not. I couldn't be more excited."
She walked off leaving me in my thoughts. The only thing about today I didn't want to happen is that the holiday was over. Meaning the zoo opened back up. And as soon as I said this...people came over to the habitat. staring at me with awe, I got annoyed and growled. I really started to get irritated, so I ran up to the side of the encloser and growled at the people. Before I could do anymore I felt someone pulling me away from the side back to my rock. When I looked back I was almost crying from all the tension. All I saw is Chad, my soul mate, the wolf i'm going to spend forever with. Not caring who sees it snuggle, I up next to him, letting him comfort me. I look up at him and the words that left my mouth. I really meant them.
"I love you Chad."
Because I love you guys for supporting me and this book (plus I have nothing else better to do) I went ahead and updated this chapter. I don't think it's one of my best but I about cried when I wrote it. And I listened to an song Between the Raindrops... I think I'm making it the books song ha ha sounds dumb but just an idea
