"It's gonna cost much." Her mother said softly to the phone. Her voice sounded broken to her ears. Thinking about her makes her heart break, it's too soon for her to go away. She can't imagine living in a world without her."I'll find a way.. I promise you I'll have the money by next week." She slurred softly to the phone, reassuring her. She sipped in the alcohol from the glass in front of her, trying to shake away her senses. She sighed, inhaling the smoke from the cigarette in between her hands. She exhaled, letting the smoke drift away from her mouth.
"Sweetheart, don't tire yourself." She licked her lips, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath. Taylor could feel her mother's breathing shake from the phone. She closed her eyes, avoiding to let her tears fall. She decided take another sip from the glass, drowning her self with the alcohol.
"Besides, my time is coming." She continued, making her daughter gulp. Taylor closed her eyes, looking down at the floor. She took a deep breathe, trying her best not to sound broken. This is all too much for her to take in.
"No, I'll get money.. Just please fucking wait." She finished the glass of beer in front of her. She takes another cigarette into her mouth, the hint of sweetness collecting in her tongue. She leans back against the wall of the bar she's in. Waiting for it to cool before inhaling, she then exhales the minty taste of menthol.
