She woke up on the white satin sheets, naked with her body. She turned around, noticing the other side of the bed was empty. She smiled as she saw Robert wasn't there, which made her heart burst into happiness. She finally felt freedom, even though she knows it was her who was willing to place herself into this mess.
She found a handwritten note on the nightstand beside her, she assumed it was Robert's. She wiped out the strand of bangs covering her forehead, running her hands through her hair as she rolled her eyes.
Rose, I've got things to take care of and I promise I'l make up the time I haven't spent with you. Don't worry, I already gave you enough morning kisses while you were asleep. - R
She ripped the paper into tiny little pieces, throwing them into a bin. She was worried Robert was becoming so attached with her, too attached perhaps.
Robert was different with the other men she had tried swindling with. There was something suspicious about him, but she just couldn't put a finger on it so she decides to not make assumptions.
She was worried her wife would find out about their affairs. She doesn't know what the consequences would be and she knows she should be careful with that.
She doesn't feel guilty at all with fucking them. It's their choice, not hers.
She isn't looking for sex, money is what she finds for perhaps. Sure you can look for other ways, but something in her gut tells her to rather stay like this.
Once you get into trouble, there's no door open for you to leave. This is what she feels like in the current situation she's in.
Ever since her mom died, it felt like she was forcing herself more to earn more money. She couldn't stop herself, even now.
It's all my fault, those have been the words tinging in her mind ever since her death. If only she gave her the money earlier, he could've saved her. Saved her mom's life.
Perhaps, even her own life too. She's been thinking about cutting off her relationship with Robert ever since he has gotten closer to her. He's been closer to her than most of the other men she's been with. The thought shakens her and makes her nervous.
He's getting too attached. Sometimes, too much is too bad. And that's the thing she's been worrying about.
A part of her tells her that he's been loving her well and treating her well, which is the reason a tiny grain of guilt is starting to grow in her heart. Whilst another part of her thinks he only wants her for pleasure and sex.. but what she's scared about the most is men getting confused between love and lust.
A lot of the men she swindled with believed she was the one, they thought they love her. But the only reason they got to know her is because of their thirst for sex anyways.. Sometimes when lust overflows, they confuse it with love.
She decided to grab her phone and talk to someone to ease all her mind a bit. She decided to call the person who's also been bugging her mind, Harry. She beamed with pride as she pressed his contact number.
"Hey," She whispered unto the phone. The bed's headboard creaked as she let her body's back lean on it. She gave out a loud sigh which Harry heard. He rose one of his eyebrows, tilting his neck to crack it.
"Miss me, Swift?" He asked with his roughly deep voice. He held his phone with his hands as he stood at Madelyn's terrace.
Madelyn slowly peeked behind the glass dooe, her steps were slow and sneaky as Harry didn't notice her. She covered her mouth as she squeeked slowly, jolly about how Harry is flirting with a young woman.
