Timothy:
To find out Vlad's truth, it was jarring, but once I saw through it all, I saw the man I knew all too well, and as the week progressed, our first date was beautiful. I got to see Vlad in a black and red suit, and to be pretty blunt, it was fucking hot. He oozed confidence and power, and it was just amazing how he could do all this cool shit. He showed me his powers, and explained why his coffin was off limits, how the trunk was actually a custom made freezer of blood, and how he didn't technically need clothes, seeing as he had his shadows, but he did it for the novelty, and nothing he could summon was like what he had. He didn't need showers due to running water. He taught me more and more Romanian, to where if it's just us, we barely speak English anymore. I kept Greg in the dark, as did Vlad, and I learned that Vlad was actually ten years shy of 600.
I also grew closer to my new co-worker, Alex. He reminded me of Vlad, but the biggest difference was the way he acted like he knew something. He always acted like he had a secret. I went outside to catch some fresh air, and I caught Alex smoking on the side of the school, muttering to himself. I quietly moved closer to hear what it was he was muttering, making sure the door didn't latch too loud so he wouldn't know I was there.
" How the fuck do I tell him? How do you tell someone something like that?! Come on, Alex, think, you need to talk to Tim, and be honest. There is more on the line than just your own petty emotions you fucking fool. Why did I let my own emotions get involved!? Why did I have to fall for this fucking guy?! He deserves the truth about Alucard, or should I call him Vlad? Stupid fucking vampire's gonna kill Tim eventually, and me for that matter if I'm not careful. Why am I like this? Poor fuckin' bastard deserves better."
I dropped everything and bolted. I got on my phone, and called Vlad, fear clutching my heart, my feet slapping the pavement as I bolted, not looking back just in case.
" What, Tim? It's noon."
" I need your help! I think there's a hunter working undercover at my school!"
" Get somewhere well shaded. I'll be right there."
He hung up, and I ran like hell to a parking garage. Vlad formed from the shadows and looked around nervous, pulling me close.
" Shh. It's ok. I won't let him hurt you. Now, what's his name?"
" Anderson! Alex Anderson."
Vlad paled if it was possible, and looked scared. I have never seen him scared, and to be honest, if he was, there was a reason to be.
" We need to go. Now. He can't get a bead on me. We need to go overseas."
" Who is he?"
" The Vatican's finest. He and I have a very ugly history-"
" One that ends today, vampire. Your precious human here was perfect bait. I do like ya Tim, you just drew the short straw. After all this, we really need to discuss your bad judgement and taste in men."
" Tim, get behind me. When I tell you two, cross your arms over your chest and close your eyes, and do not open them until you feel something solid under you. Once you do, you need to grab my trunk, my coffin, and your travel pack. Tie the trunk to the coffin, and get inside it. Do not leave it until someone lets you out. I promise you'll be safe."
" I trust you. I love you. Do not leave me, and that's an order, damn it."
" I knew there was a reason I love you. As you wish, my dear."
The priest grew closer, and I was hiding behind Vlad, where a small pool of black appeared on the other side of the ledge of the garage.
" Tim, now! Go!"
