Anderson:

It's been almost 6 months since Integra died and we have zero traces on where on earth Alucard vanished to. We don't even know if she had an heir and if she did, it was kept secret from us. All we know is he got a normal looking set of visa cards and a passport special for verified green card living in the states, but we have no idea where in the states he could be. He even got a normal enough name that it's almost impossible to find him. Vlad Brenner. The vampire vanished as best he could. I was in my office, scouring the paperwork on what we could gather to see if we could get anything, when a knock on my door almost made me spill my coffee.

" Come in. Ah, Yumiko, what do you need?"

" We found him! He's in Los Angeles! Alucard is in Los Angeles!"

" How in the hell did you find him?!"

Yumiko slams a folder as thick as my finger on my desk, and it looked fresh from the printer, so fresh, in fact, I could still smell the ink drying into the paper.

" He has a job as a security guard at a gay bar and lives with a collage kid who works as a music teacher at St. Catharine's. Heinkel went there to give them their schools second semester check and saw him picking up a Mr. Timothy Kelly. He's even listed as an emergency contact for Mr. Kelly should anything happen while he's at school or working! We found him! He drives a candy apple red Ferrari 488 spider and is currently staying at this address!"

I looked it all over, and sure enough, the one picture we could snag from school security cams had him in punk get up, his eyes behind those old familiar shades I knew all too well by now.

" When does my plane leave?"

" In an hour. Maxwell says you aren't to come home until he's dead or captured."

" That I can do."

" Maxwell also said that if you do kill him, he said you'll be classified as a retired with honors veteran. You'll be able to retire in peace. Isn't that great?"

Me, retire? I never thought of me ever retiring. The very idea scares the hell out of me, but then again, I am almost 56. I am what most would could call old and ready to retire or slow down.

" Yeah, that's great. I'm getting up there, and I could use some time off. I'll pack my things and take off as soon as I can."

" Alrighty then. Good luck and Godspeed, Father."

Timothy:

It's been 6 months since Vlad moved in, and he's been the best roommate anyone could ask for.  During the day I try to be out of the house so he can sleep, and at night, he'll drive me around so I don't have to walk with my backpack. He's even been nice to pick me up from the middle school if I should stay late and I needed a ride. He never missed paying rent, and he always had a meal waiting for me and Greg after class. With it being the Christmas season, I was going to be going on break not just from class, but from teaching, and Vlad said that's fine, I needed the break, just don't be loud during the day. Speaking of Christmas, I didn't know if Vlad celebrated. I know he hates most holidays, Halloween being the exception. He did an amazing vampire costume this year, so good in fact, it seemed effortless. He also was still single, much like I was, but I couldn't help but feel bad for him. He was a handsome enough guy, he had guys fawning over him at work from the sounds of it, he even said he wouldn't mind a change of pace to be with a guy for once, so why? Were they just not his type? Did he even have a type?

It was early morning, Vlad had just gotten back from work, and I was cranking out my study material as fast as I could. I had a pot of coffee already going, and since we switched to a special brand that Vlad recommended, I've been wired on just a single cup. Turkish coffee really is the best. Vlad grabbed himself a cup, and sat down next to me, deflating from work.
