Chapter 13

I was getting ready for my date when Regina came walking into my room

"Why aren't you ready yet?" She asked

"Because I have plenty of time" I replied

"No you don't it's seven thirty already we were supposed to be there by now" She replied

"What are you talking about? I'm going on a date" I said

"What? We're supposed to be going to Katherine and David's tonight" She said

"Well you didn't tell me and now I have a date with Ruby at 8" I told her

"Fine me and Henry will go without you" She said walking out my room. She came back in straight away "Ruby?" She asked

"Yeah" I replied trying to keep her from making a big deal over the fact that she's a girl

"Don't wear that!" She said "Wear the small black dress" She said smiling before telling Henry to hurry up. I changed into the small black dress that had one sleeve and was super cute. I put my black suede stilettos on and grabbed a little black and gold clutch before adding some gold jewellery. I was finally ready when the door bell went. I answered the door and there was ruby in a cute red dress looking elegant as ever.

"Wow" She said

"Back at you" I replied

"I booked a reservation at Tony's" She said

"Great" I replied. We arrived and had dinner. She was so nice to be around and she told me all about what it was like growing up in Storybrook, but she really wanted to know about New York

"Well it has the best pizza. Um, at Christmas it's so pretty, the entire place is covered in lights" I told her

"I wish I had been somewhere. I've spent my entire life here" She said

"Well one day I'll take you to New York at Christmas" I told her. At the end of the date I paid the bill (Since I asked her out) and we went back home. "Regina and Henry are back... do you wanna go for a walk?" I asked not wanting the date to end

"I'd love to" She replied. We walked along the pier and watched the ocean. She stopped watching the waves and stared at me making me blush

"What?" I asked smiling

"Your amazing" She said making me blush even more "I really wanna kiss you right now" She said. She started leaning in towards me. I leant in and we kissed. She grabbed my face wanting more, needing more and my hands went to the back of her neck feeling amazing the more we got into it. Eventually we pulled away. And a big grin spread across both our faces.

"Come on" I said taking her hand and heading back home. When we arrived back at the house. We kissed again, a bit more PG in case Regina saw us.

"Goodnight" She said as she got into her car

"Night" I said back as I went back into the house. I didn't expect Regina to wait u for me so when she was in the living room, she scared me half to death

"How was it?" She asked. I couldn't help blush

"You definitely made the right call on the dress" I said before making my way up to my room to go to bed.

The next day I thought it would be awkward at work but instead me and Ruby had more fun than usual. Sneaking glances at each other, making each other laugh or blush! However, things took a more sour note when Regina came to talk to Mary-Margret.

"Miss Blanchard, may I have a word?" Regina asked sitting down

"Of course" She replied

"I wanted to talk to you about my friend Kathryn. But more specifically, I wanted to talk to you about her husband David. You dont belong together. Hes not yours, hes taken, find somebody else" Regina said

"I havent done anything" Mary-Margret replied

"Really? So he just up and left his wife on a whim?" Regina asked

"He did what?" Said Mary-Margret

"You dont know" Mary-Margret shook her head "Well, I suspect you soon will. So listen carefully, dear, cause its in your best interest. Stay away. Hes in a fragile state, he doesnt know who he is or what hes doing, and youre this close to wrecking multiple lives. So, before you do something that cant be undone, let him remember who he was" She said before leaving. Mary-Margret looked shocked

"Sorry, I didn't mean to over hear... are you ok?" I asked

"Oh, um... yeah I think so" She replied

"I'd go talk to Emma if I were you" I said. She nodded and left, hopefully taking my advice.

After my afternoon shift, I was about to leave but Ruby came and found me

"Hey, I was thinking maybe you would want to go on another date? This weekend maybe?" She asked

"I'd love to" I said before kissing her on the cheek and going to pick Henry up form school. We walked home together. It was boring for the rest of the night. When Henry was in bed asleep I told Regina I was going for a walk but she couldn't care less.

I headed to the woods. It was nice being out in the fresh air. I walked further and further into the woods. Eventually I decided to turn back, it was dark and I didn't want to get lost. However, on my way back, I bumped into Mary-Margret who was crying

"Sorry" I said crashing into her

"Sorry I didn't see you" She said keeping her head down, sniffing

"Hey, wait" I said as she tried to walk off "What's wrong?" She broke down, sobbing. I grabbed a hold of her and hugged her as she buried her face in my jacket. I stroked her head. What the hell happened?!

"I'm so sorry" She said still crying

"Hey, no, it's ok!" I said stroking her arm "What happened?" I asked

"David got his memories back... he chose her" She said crying again. I pulled her in for another hug

"Hey, listen to me, ok! Your going to be fine. Everything is going to be fine. Your way out of his league anyway!" I said. She laughed a little "Come on, I'll walk you home" We headed back to her place. It was empty. Emma wasn't there

"You don't have to stay. I'll call Emma get her to come home" She said when she let herself into the apartment

"You sure?" I asked

"Yeah she'll be back any minute" She said. I said goodbye and headed back home. On my way, I watched as the Sheriff's car pulled over by Regina's house. Emma got out and ran up the drive way. She hit someone coming out the house and he fell to the ground. I needed to get back inside as headed over to where Emma was. Turns out it was Graham sneaking out the house

"This is volunteering?" She asked Graham

"Plans changed. Regina needed me to-" He said in pain from Emma hitting him in the stomach. Neither of them had noticed me coming towards them and clearly hearing thm talking.

"Sleep with her?" Emma said finishing his sentence

"No" Said Graham. He spotted me and sighed

"Hey what are you doing here?" Emma asked me

"I went for a walk and then saw you two" I told her "So your sleeping with Regina?" I asked feeling a little sick

"No" Said Graham

"Then Why were you sneaking out the window?" Emma asked

"Because She didnt want Henry to know, or Hope" He said

"You did this with Henry in the house?" Emma asked

"Hes sleeping. He doesnt know" Said Graham

"Oh my god, I wish I was Henry right now" Said Emma

"This is disgusting" I said

"I really do work at an animal shelter" He told Emma

"You can finish my shift. Im done working nights" She said leaving

"Emma, wait!" I said running over to her "While I was walking in the woods, I saw Mary-Margret... she's really upset. Her meeting with David didn't go very well" I told her

"Thanks" She said walking away more urgently. I went back inside and straight to me room. I definitely didn't want to talk to Regina right now.
