Your POV
Riding a Thestral was much like riding a Hippogriff, only there wasn't any feathers and most of us couldn't see them. "THIS IS TERRIFYING!" Ron screamed over the loud rush of wind. "I CAN'T SEE WHAT IM RIDING ON!" Gabbie screeched and I smiled a bit and looked forward, squinting due to the wind. Once we reached London the sun had fallen and a storm had settled in.
As soon as we landed I jumped down and hurried into the ministry, my friends on my heels. We exited the elevator at the department of mysteries. I stared down the long hallway and at the black door I had seen many times before. "This is it." I stated firmly and slowly led the way down the glistening hall. As we reached the door I held my hand out and pulled it open.
We entered a room that I couldn't see the end of. There were shelves that were perfectly alined, and on these shelves were dark and gloomy like crystal balls. The shelves seemed to go all the way up to the roof, not that I could see it. The whole room had a blueish tint to it and the floors were the same black as the floor out in the hall.
I pulled out my wand, "lumos!" I muttered and Hermione Ron and Harry did the same while Draco grabbed my hand. There was a sort of whisper that made us all turn and I noticed that the door wasnt connected to a wall. It just stood there all in it's lonesome. Behind the door we're more shelves. "We need to find my Dad. He was trapped by shelf 95."
I released Draco's hand and held my wand up higher hurrying through the room. I read the shelf numbers out loud, Harry was right with me but everyone else stayed by the door. Once we got to the shelf I faltered, right where my dad was supposed to be, was empty. Not a scratch was there. I spun around desperately, "he was here!" I muttered and Harry rubbed my shoulder. "I know, I believe you."
I faced the group, "HE SHOULD BE HERE!" I yelled so they could hear me. My voice echoed throughout the room and it gave me chills. "Y/N? Harry?" Neville's voice called and I snapped my head to him. He was looking up at one of the shelves and his back was to us. "Its got your names on it." Once I joined them I examined the glowing orb. I went to grab it but hesitated and looked back at the group for reassurance. Harry gave a small nod and I grabbed it.
I looked into it and heard the whispy voice of professor Trelawney. "The two with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches, and the Dark Lord shall mark her as his equal but she shall have power that the dark lord knows not. The boy that will be cursed is not the chosen one, but his importance to the dark lords downfall is vital. Neither the girl nor the dark lord can live while the other survives."
I stared into the orb but was snapped back to reality by the sound of Draco's voice. "Y/N!" She called and I joined the group standing protectively in front of them. I watched in horror as a cloaked figure in a mask approached us. "Deatheaters." I breathed only loud enough for my friends to hear. "Wheres my father!" I demanded. "You know," the voice was familiar but I just couldn't pin down where I had heard it before.
"You really should be able to tell the difference between dreams..." he unsheathed his wand and swiped it over his face revealing, Lucius Malfoy. "And reality. You saw only what the dark lord wanted you to see." "Father?" Draco said through clenched teeth. Lucius turned his nose up slightly. "I see no son of mine, I see a bunch of blood traitors and a Mudblood too. Now hand me the prophecy."
I glared at him, "if you do anything to us I'll break it." A sudden cackle filled the air and footsteps were heard. "She knows how to play!" The woman came into the light And I recognized her immediately from the daily profit. It was Bellatrix Lestrange, "itty bitty, baby... Black!" She spat my name as an insult. "Bellatrix Lestrange." Neville sighed and he stood closer to me. "Neville Longbottom is it? How's mom and dad?" She sneered.
