Your POV:

I sat on the left of my father, who sat at the end of the table. Draco sat next to me listening to our conversation. "It seems your hearing at the ministry has to be before the entire wizarding committee." My dad informed me and I pushed my full plate of food away and placed my intertwined hands on the table. "I don't understand what is the ministry of Magic got against me?" I asked and our end of the table was quiet for a moment. Moody who stood in the corner in between Sirius and I leaned heavily on his cane, "show her!" He growled. "She's going to find out soon enough!" As he said this the entire table went quiet, all my friends who sat at the other end of the table stared at me for a moment. The tall dark wizard who I soon learned was named Kingsley, held out a copy of the daily profit.

I leaned over Draco to retrieve it. On the cover was a picture of me from last year, the main headline read, "The girl who lies?!" I exclaimed angrily. "He's been attacking Dumbledore as well." Kingsley said and I continued to read on, but this time in my head. "Fudge says all is well." "Giggles..." I looked up at my father. "Fudge has been using all his power secluding his influence on my daily profit, smearing anyone who claims the Dark Lord has returned." I felt Draco's hand on my knee and an urge of calmness rushed through my body. "Why?" I asked and Lupin who sat in front of me began to fill me in. "The minister thinks Dumbledore is after his job."

I dropped the paper my hand hitting the table, "but that's insane. No one in their right mind would think Dumbledore would want to-" "exactly the point." Lupin cut me off.  "Fudge isn't in his right mind. He's been twisted and warped by fear, now fear makes people do terrible things. The last time Voldemort gained power he almost destroyed everything we hold most dear." I could feel everyone's eyes on me. "The Minister will do almost anything to avoid facing the most terrifying truth." My father bean to speak, "we think Voldemort is trying to build up his army again." I looked around the table, it seemed that this news was new to my friends.

I meet my father's eyes as he continued, "14 years ago he had huge numbers at his command. Not just witches and wizards but numbers of dark creatures. He's been recruiting heavily and we're tempted to do the same, but gathering followers isn't the only thing that Voldemort is interested in." Moody cleared his throat causing me to snap my head up at him and my father to hesitate. "We believe Voldemort may be after something." My father leaned back as Moody growled his name in warning. "Something he didn't have last time." I was quiet for a moment, "you mean like a weapon?" I heard cutlery slamming down, "no that's enough!" Molly demanded. "She is just a girl!" She said she hurried over and snatched the paper from in front of me.

"You say much more and you might as well induct her into the order!" I nodded, "good I want to join. If Voldemort's raising an army then I want to fight!" My father clapped and leaned back looking proud. But Molly wasn't allowing it, she made all of us head straight up to bed. I grumbled as I kissed my dad good night and headed up the stairs followed closely by Hermione and Ginny. I walked in and plopped on the bed that had my trunk on it. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door, "come in!" Hermione called and the door opened and Draco, Harry, and Ron all filed in.

Draco crawled in the bed next to me, "it ridiculous!" I complained, "we should be able to join the order!" Hermione frowned, "as much as I want too, I think Mrs Weasley has a point. We should stay focused on our studies." Ron groaned, "yeah okay!" He said sarcastically as he sat on Ginny's bed. Hermione rolled her eyes  before looking back at me, "after all Crystal you have a hearing soon." I rolled over placing my head on Draco's chest, "don't remind me Mione."

"NOPE!" I jumped up at the loud outburst. I rubbed my eyes sleepily and noticed that Draco had jumped up as well. My father was staring down at us with his arms crossed. "No! Not in my house! You will not kiss! And definately not sleep in the same bed!" I yawned, "Dad! I haven't heard from him or seen him all summer! I deserve to be able to spend time with him!" He shook his head, "you've been here for a week!" I frowned, "you trust me right?" He sighed deeply before saying anything. I noticed that Hermione and Ginny had also been awoken. "Yes, of course I trust you Giggles but-" I stood and stretched, "then you have nothing to worry about."
