Your POV:
I sighed deeply as I swept around Harry and I's room picking up all of the clothes that he had strown out. Dudley had come in here earlier today had demanded that I come and hangout with his friends. He may hate Harry and magic folk and general but he sure seemed a bit obsessed with me. When I declined he stormed away threatening Harry and I. Harry sat on his bed, grumbling as he write a letter.
I peered over to him as I put his clothes in the hamper, "who's that for?" He sheilded the parchment from sight immediately, "no one!" I rolled my eyes. "Okay, whatever you say." Harry and I had grown to love eachother like siblings. But he was still keeping secrets, here he was getting all these letters and I hadn't heard from anyone all summer. Not even Draco Malfoy, my boyfriend. I closed the curtain that split the room and began to change.
I pulled back the curtain once more and Harry glanced up at me as Hedwig flew out the window clutching a letter in her beak, Naomi hooted angrily and I sighed. "Sorry girl," I opened the cage and she hopped on my wrist. "Nobody answers my letters, so I have no mission for you. But if you would really like, you can follow Hedwig." I put my hand out the window and she hooted once before soaring after her. "I don't think Draco would like you wearing that outfit." I whipped around and glared at him. "Not a damn word about him. If he cared enough he would write. Now, I'm headed to the park are you coming or not?"
Harry stood, "they won't let us out." I grabbed my wand and twirled it in my fingers, "the will if I have anything to say about it." Petunia and Vernon were particularly nasty towards me, for multiple reasons. I won't date their son, I am a witch, and because I dressed how I do. They called it and I quote "slutty" and that I should dress like a proper lady. They were not very pleased to find out that before I had come here I had went shopping in Hogsmeade with Hermione for clothes that were a few sizes to big, so they fit perfectly now. I grabbed the speaker I had "borrowed" from Dudley and my iPod before linking arms with Harry and ruffling his hair.
We had wanted to make Petunia and Vernon mad so I gave Harry a haircut. I purposely gave him a more rugged look since they preferred their life and everything around them to be perfect. Together we clomped down the stairs, my wand in hand and Harry's in his pocket. Petunia was in kitchen fanning herself as she cooked dinner. She glared at me, "and where are you to out to?" I smiled sweetly, "the park." I placed my wand to my temple and Petunia looked a bit frightened, "v-very well. Be back before my Dudykins!" I rolled my eyes and pulled Harry out the door. As we walked down the streets I blasted music, causing the neighbors to shout but I didn't care as I bounced around with forced happiness.
I found that if Harry or others thought that I was happy they wouldn't push me to talk about what had happened last year. And I also remembered what Dumbledore had told me, "don't dwell on dreams." I took it in a different way, I altered his words. "Don't dwell on the past." Once we got to the park I sat in the swing, "Oi! Lightning Boy! Push me!" He smiled a bit before pushing me, I laughed as I went higher and higher shouting the music at the top of my lungs, not bothering to sound good. I quickly skidded to a stop when I saw Dudley and his gang walking down the street. "So! Black! You gonna go out with me yet?" I jumped off the swing and crossed my arms, "fat chance big D. I've got a boyfriend." He approached and smiled and it was enough to make me gag.
