Percy Jackson:

I walked down the hall gloomily

All the students were gossiping and whispering about some silver van outside.

"I didn't know we were getting a new girl."

"I wonder if she's hot."

"She must be super rich."

I rolled my eyes. 'Leave it to teenagers to make such a big deal out of a new kid.' I thought it was just going to be another rich, snobby underdressed girl...oh how wrong I was.

After walking into my homeroom I slumped into my chair. For not only did I have to go to school, but Annabeth would not be there.

I sighed and rested my head on the table as Miss. Cuthbert started to ramble on.

"We seem to have a...new student today." I sunk down deeper into my desk.

"Wait. This must be a mistake. " Miss. Cuthbert says. Moving her glasses closes to the paper.

I banged my head slightly on the desk.

"...well, I come in Miss. Chase."

I froze.

'Wait...Isn't that..'

I lifted my head just to find myself staring at the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life.

Annabeth Chase:

It was the first time in my life that I was excited to go to school.

I walked inside Goode with a huge smile on my face, ignoring all the confused stares.

"Is that the nerd girl?"

"Isn't she the one that hangs out with the hot punk chick?"

I laughed to myself. If Thalia found out he said that then his body would never be found.

Now, you may be wondering, "Why is this girl so happy? To go to High-School?!"

Well, here's the thing: I thought I was going to a new school. One I have never been before, one without my friends, one where I was the center of all attention, and the nerd. But, I just found out I am going to the school with my friends! Of course, I don't have many friends. But Percy and Thalia were all I needed, and wanted.

I walked to the homeroom door with a little (I didn't want to creep the others out to much) bounce in my step. Once I got there Miss. Cuthbert smiled at me and opened the door.

"Hello...Miss. Chase?!"

I waved at her.

"Wait. This must be a mistake," the woman said, looking closely at her paper.

I shook my head. "No Ma'am. I oved in with my mother and was supposed to go to a new school...I guess she didn't know which school I already went to," I said politely.

Miss. Cuthbert smiled at my. "Wonderful darling! Well, come in Miss. Chase!"

I put on a small smile as I entered the room. Only to have it grow when my eyes met gorgeous sea green ones.

So...Do you want to come eat with me and my friends? I- I mean with my other friends. Thalia can come to If she wants," Percy rambled to me nervously.

I had survived my morning classes, now it was time for lunch.

"I would love to! I don't know if Thalia will be as exited but I'll force her to come if she wont."

Percy smiled at me and all his nervousness from before disappeared.

"Okay!"

We walked over to where Thalia was and she looked at me in shock.

You see, me and Thalia have no morning classes together, therefore she had not seen me yet.

"Annie? I thought you were supposed to be in rich kid city or some prep school for nerds?!"

I glared at her and shrugged.

"I decided I was going to miss you punk," I said ruffling her hair.

Thalia swatted my hand away and gave me a pat on the back.

"Good to see you. Now if you would follow me to-"

"i'm sitting with Percy."

Thalia wiggled her eyebrows at me. 'Holy crap I have never seen her do that.'

"Well, good for you. tell me the color scheme of your wedding and I'll just be on my-". I interrupted her once again.

"And your coming with me."

I smirked at her slacked jaw.

"But-"

"no butts."

I heard a loud laugh from behind me.

"That was- Butts! Annabeth you said butts!"

Percy was laughing his butt off.

I rolled my eyes, trying to hide the smile that was slowly creeping on my face.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lets go Percy. Thalia."

I said dragging my friends along. Of course I didn't really know where I was going, but I really didn't care.

And Percy said his table is right in front of us.
