Alex walked through the front field of the school and caught sight of the familiar flaming red hair off in the distance, Alex felt her legs begin to move faster in curiosity as she watched bloom from about 100 meters away walking through the barrier that kept them all safe. A few moments later, Aisha came out of the water and chased after bloom, and that seemed to be Alex's cue to speed up and go after them to make sure that they didn't get into any trouble.
Quickly she ran after them, but she stopped when she came to the barrier, she hesitated, thinking if this was a good idea or not, she knew it could turn out bad and it wasn't really any of her business what Bloom was doing, but she had to make sure that they were okay. Finally, she pushed her hand through the barrier and then the rest of her body passed through too. She suddenly saw flames through the trees and quickly sped up then finally came to a clearing where Blooms hands were on fire and she was clearly out of control, Aisha was trying to calm her down but it wasn't working.
"What's happening" Aisha asks Alex quickly in worry and Alex was obviously shaken by what she was witnessing, Bloom was beginning to freak out and it was only making the situation worse
"She's losing control" Alex quickly says to Aisha and then begins to try and calm Bloom down "Bloom, listen to me, its okay!"
"Alex! The two of you shouldn't be here!" Bloom calls out in concern and the fire goes on the ground and begins to spread around her
"Neither should you" Aisha spits out quickly and Alex puts her hand up to tell Aisha to just stay quiet and let her do the talking
"Listen to me Bloom, you're losing control, you need to calm down and trust me okay" Alex calls out to her but it didn't seem like Bloom was listening to anything that she was saying "Bloom, i know what its like to lose control okay" she tries to reason
"No you don't" Bloom spits out and Alex goes to say something back but Aisha cuts her off, only seeming to make the situation even worse
"You need to calm down okay!" Aisha calls out angrily and this catches blooms attention
"And you need to leave, get out of here" Bloom fires back defensively "just go away" she says angrily and throws her fists towards the ground and then suddenly large trails of fire come shooting towards them "Aisha! Alex! Run!"
Alex stood frozen as the flames came towards her, she was completely defenceless, she was too scared to use her powers, she could lose control and hurt bloom and Aisha in the process, or even worse, kill them
Aisha suddenly sends her hand flying down to the ground and bits of water come from the dirt and fly up and make a giant wall that consumes the flames and puts them out and bloom finally calms down and looks around in complete shock and disbelief
"Why didn't you do anything?" Aisha suddenly asks from behind her and Alex turns to look at her with confusion, there was non way that Aisha knew what her abilities were "I thought you were an earth fairy, you're in a forest, I'm sure you could have found something to protect us with" she continues
"What makes you think that I am an earth fairy" Alex asks in confusion as Bloom walks over to them, clearly annoyed with the two girls for following her into the forest and to stubborn to admit that it was her fault
"Well you like plants, i guess i just assumed" Aisha said and shrugged her shoulders and Alex looked around in confusion but it was obvious that she was annoyed
"Well maybe you shouldn't just assume things than Aisha, you don't know anything about me" Alex quickly states and looks up at Aisha "look, just because someone likes plants doesn't mean that they are a freaking earth fairy okay? Also on the terms of plants, you need to be more careful with what you say around Terra, you really hurt her feelings today even though you didn't notice it" Alex didn't stay to listen to what either of them had to say, instead she stormed back to the barrier and back towards the school.
When she got back the party was still going and people were crowded around everywhere, talking, dancing and drinking. She walked around through the crowd of people looking to see if she could find any of her suite mates. Finally, she spotted Terra who was over siting at one of the tables.
"Hey Terra!" Alex says and takes a seat next to the earth fairy who smiles widely up at her
"Oh hey! Where have you been, I haven't seen you in ages" the fairy said with the familiar warm smile on her face but the smile drops when she notices Raven across the room forcing a first year to drink alcohol. Alex notices the look on her face and looks to where Terra was looking and she recognised the second year as the boy that was friends with Tom.
"What are you bullying the first years? Be more basic" Terra says and storms over to them and Alex quickly follows after her.
"I can't bully the willing, right?" Riven asks Terra with a smile on his face and Alex rolled her eyes
"I don't know what that means" the first year boy says who was obviously super uncomfortable with what was happening around him and he didn't know what to do with the situation that he was in
"Is that really what you call willing?" Alex suddenly spits out and then turns around to look at the first year "just ignore him he is clearly a douche who thinks that he is some badass"
"Yeah you should have seen him last year, he was a tragic nerd in disguise" Terra adds in
"And she's just three people in disguise" Riven suddenly fires back at her and not even a second later, Alex sent her fist flying straight into the boys face and he toppled over and held his nose in pain but blood was already seeping down his face
"Watch your mouth dick wad before i punch you in the mouth so hard that you shit out your teeth" Alex spits angrily, tired of hearing people body shame people, especially people like Terra who are the nicest people in the world and don't deserve to feel any kind of pain
Riven stands back up, fuming with blood dripping down and staining his shirt "You're going to regret that you b-"
"What's going on here?" Says the same familiar British accent and he walks through the crowd and when he notices the blood covered riven his mouth opens slightly in shock and then he turns to look at the short fairy who's fist were balled "what are you doing?" He quickly asks the girl and walks over to her but suddenly plants that hung down from the wall pulled both Tom and Riven into the wall, it held Tom still but the vines that were wrapped around Riven tightend around his neck and chest
"People always think that they can treat the big girl like shit, because we're, we're sweet and we are harmless, and we should be happy that you are even talking to us. And people think that they can pick on the small knew girl that's super shy and likes to avoid people because you know, its not like they are going to do anything back and they will probably just walk off in the other direction and ignore you. But sometimes, we have a had a really really bad day, and some scrawny little asshole says the wrong thing at the wrong time, and suddenly we are not happy that you are talking to us and we aren't sweet or shy, and most of all we are not harmless" Terra spat out and the vines only got tighter around both of the boys
"Terra come on, Tom didn't do anything" Alex says to her softly but Terra ignores her "come on Terra, Riven can't breathe, they have had enough" Alex said nervously and looked between Terra and the two boys who were stuck to the wall but Terra doesn't do anything as Rivens face begins to turn purple. Alex and Tom make eye contact and then suddenly Alex's eyes turn green and the vines that were around Tom and Riven pulled away from their bodies and the two of them were free.
"You could have killed me you freak" Riven spits in Terras face and then storms off
"Missed you too" terra says quickly before he leaves and then turns to Alex with shock in her eyes "so you're an earth fairy?" she asks with a smile but Alex wasn't smiling back, she was staring at the fairy with wide eyes and then looked like she was going to be sick
"Ive got to go, I'm sorry" she quickly mutters out and then pushes through the crowd of people who had been watching the scene unfold, her ears were ringing and her hands were clenched tightly, her nails digging into the palms of her hands drawing blood as she tried to control herself, she ran through the halls and then out of the back entrance of the school, her ears were ringing so loudly that she didn't even hear the boy who was chasing after her, continue to call out her name.
