Alexandra began unpacking her bags and setting everything up in the room that she was sharing with Stella, who was on her side of the room doing her makeup in her mirror. Alex walked out of her room and went out to introduce herself to the other people in her suit and get to know them since Stella clearly didn't want much to do with her. She walked into Blooms room and saw another girl in there
"Hi um, I'm Alexandra but you can call me Alex" Alex says to the other girl and shakes her hand and then sends a quick wave over to Bloom who was smiling softly at her
"I'm Aisha" The girl says and smiles kindly at Alexandra "its nice to meet you Alex I hope you settled in okay"
"Yeah yeah its cool, the rooms are a pretty good size even though we are sharing them, the plants and stuff really add a nice touch too" Alex said with a smile and Terra who was in the next room smiled to herself as she heard what Alexandra had said
"Yeah that's terra, she's an earth fairy" Aisha states and then turns to Bloom "so you have human parents but you are a fairy?" And Alex too was intrigued just like Aisha
"Mm-hmm miss Dowling said that there's um, a fairy somewhere in my family tree, like a long dormant magical bloodline" Bloom says and she was obviously upset about the situation and also confused but then she starts to chuckle under her breath "sorry, one of these days, I'm going to get used to how absolutely ridiculous all of this sounds"
"Oh my god" Aisha suddenly says "are you the one person in the universe who has never read Harry Potter?" Alex grins at the mention of one of her favourite book series
"Please. If you knew how many hours of my life I have wasted taking sorting hat quizes" Bloom states and Alex laughs
"Me too" ALex says with a giant grin on her face
"So bloom, I going to guess that you are a ravenclaw" Aisha says with a blank expression on her face
"Sometimes slytherin, yeah"bloom says with a grin
"Well that explains the lies then" Aisha says with a grin
"Hm let me guess, gryffindor" Bloom fires back at Aisha "explains the judgement" and then she turns to look at Alex "and what about you?"
"Oh I'm a Hufflepuff, but also sometimes a Slytherin" Alex says and gives them a smile and Aisha raises her eyes in surprise
"A hufflepuff and a slytherin, quite an odd pairing but I can see how Hufflepuff is your first house, I guess I'm just going to have to wait and see your secret slytherin side" Aisha says with a grin and then Alex smiles and then leaves the room to go and say hi to Terra
"Hi Terra, I'm Alex" Alex says with a smile and sticks her hand out and the girl takes her hand and shakes it happily "I love you're plants, it really brightens the whole place up"
Terra was taller than Alex and a bit wider, she was very pretty and ALex could tell that she was an extremely sweet person, though she could tell that you wouldn't want to mess with her "thank you so much" terra said with a giant smile but then Stella stormed into the room
"This is a shared space remember terra. Everyone loved the secret garden because it was a secret" Stella said and Alex went to tell her that what she said was actually incorrect but Terra had beaten her to it
"Actually that is not quite the message of the secret garden. If anything its the story about how when things are kept private, their benefits aren't fully appreciated" Terra explains and Stella glares at her so Terra chuckles nervously and grabs one of her plants and goes to walk off into her room and she nods for Alex to come with her so Alex quickly follows after her
"Well she seems lovely" a girl says as Terra and Alex walk into Terras room, the girl had her hair tied into two space buns and a large set of headphones wrapped around her neck
"She's just having fun" Terra says defending Stella "I know its a lot. Shocker. Earth fairy called Terra likes plants, its a family thing, I've got this cousin called Flora, my mums rose and my dad works in the greenhouse here. That's why I know a load of second years. I grew up around Alfea so..."
"Stella is a second year?" Both Alex and Musa suddenly ask "why is she ini a suit full of first years?"
"Oh yeah I'm, I don't know really" Alex felt her eyes go purple and she could tell that Terra was lying. Alex looked over towards Musa and noticed the purple hue that shone in her eyes and she realised that Musa was a empath fairy, which happened to be one of the many abilities that Alex had. Musa went to pull her headphones over her ears but Terra continued talking "uh an administrive thing, also sorry um, i just wouldn't bring it up with her. You know um, lets all of us just blanket statement "who cares" she says with a giggle and Musa watched with interest as Alex pulled her pair of headphones out of her pocket. The two girls made eye contact for a short moment and Musa went to say something to her but was cut off by Terra.
"Would either of you like a succulent?" Terra asks them with a giant smile "they are really hip, low maintenance, just like you Musa. And Alex, i heard that you like my plants"
"If i take it will you stop talking?" Musa spits out and Terras was obviously hurt by the fairy's choice of words "Terra, I'm just having fun" Musa continues and Terra smiles softly and then hands a plant over to Musa who takes it with a small smile
Terra hands one over to Alex who was grinning widely at her "thanks Terra, ill go and put this in my room" she goes to walk out of the room but then turns back to look at Terra "you said you know a lot of the second years right?"
"Yes that's right?" Terra replies with a smile
"Well there was this guy that i met today, average height, British accent, brown hair, brown eyes, friends with a guy named Riv or something like that" Alex says and she knew that she shouldn't be asking about him, she had only just met him and from what his friend had said, she knew that it was probably better off if she stayed away, but she also didn't want to judge him just because of his reputation, but she didn't want to get hurt, not again. "Do you know him or anything"
"Well my guess is that you are talking about Tom Parker, he's a second year and a complete player" Terra says with a blank expression on her face "I never really talked to him much but when i did he wasn't exactly the nicest person in Alfea and he likes getting to trouble and you see him with a new girl every day, its probably better off if you just stay away from him" Alex nods her head in understanding, if Terra thought that he was a bad person than that was a pretty clear sign.
