As we were finishing lunch, my governess walked into the room looking absolutely distressed.
" My ladies," Gloria the governess said giving us a curtsy
"You may proceed in talking, Gloria," Devika said politely
" My ladies we must get ready for the ball tonight and if you may want to take the food with you to your rooms I can tell the maids to do that for you," Gloria said
" Thank you and please tell them to bring the food upstairs to our respective chambers with a jug of limeade," Devika replied
" Yes, your grace," Gloria said leaving
Our maids walked in to accompany us to our rooms.
" May you work a few steps behind us we need to discuss a very important matter," Gael said to them
They gave a curtsy as we walked past.
" I can not believe we have to go to this stupid ball," Devika said unhappily
" This is not a stupid ball this is a very important ball, and it would be so nice to go to one we have not gone forever," Gael said happily
"It seems as if you know something we don't. Do tell us why this ball is so important Gael?" I asked curiously
" This ball is for society to see next years prospects for marriage that's why so many ladies and gentlemen are coming its to show society what they will be working with next year," Gael said
" Sometimes I do forget that we will have to make our way into society next year," I said groaning
" To go and find a good husband to give babies to. Yes I can not wait to become a broodmare," Devika
" Devika, no truer words have ever come out of your mouth," I said laughing at her
" I must agree even though balls are wonderful being a wife and a mother seems absolutely dreadful," Gael agreed
We walked on finally reaching our chambers.
" I believe my room will be big enough for the ladies to cater to us there, don't you think Ophelia," I said loud enough for the maids to hear
" Yes, my lady," Ophelia agreed
We all entered my chambers and sat down waiting for the maids to bring out the dresses for us to choose. The royal designer, Antonio came into the room with a bow.
" My ladies today I have so many dresses for you to choose from should we begin," He said happily
"Of course we are ready to start," Gael said excitedly
" My ladies who should we start with?" Ariel one of Gael's maids asked
" Let us start off with Gael," I said taking a drink of limeade
They brought 3 dresses for us to choose from for Gael.

" This dress was inspired by the moon herself for you MIss Gael I think your complexion would make the dress stand out as well as the new hair you are wearing," Antonio said
"I want to see my other options before I make a decision," Gael said

"This dress was made with the night sky, the feathers are fake because I know the love you have for animals Lady Devika," Antonio said
" I do love the designs but I do not believe this dress can outshine the other one," I said to Gael
" I do agree with Desiree but let us see one more," Devika said
" A dress combined with both the feathers and the jewels will be perfect for me," Gael said
" Of course let me bring another dress," Antonio said

As the gray dress is brought out I could see by the way Gael looked at it that this dress was the one. She had always liked the color grey and this dress was perfect for her.
" This is the dress," She said not letting Antonio even finish his sentence
" Who should we move on to?" Antonio asked
" I think I want to see mine next," Devika said taking a bite into a cinnamon bun
