TIME SKIP TO: AFTER DINNER IN THE DRAWING ROOM
" This better be important because you guys woke me up at 2 am in the night?" Toph said annoyed. She stood there with her blanket wrapped around her.
" Yeah, this better be important," Devika said rubbing the sleep out of her eyes
I had been woken up by Aunt Kairi at around 2 am, she said there was something she had to discuss with us. She and Aunt Keitha had woken up everyone except the Himmels and Diana and Avyanna. After the heated dinner and me slapping my mother; Osiris, Toph, and I left the North-East wing and moved into the southeast wing. In our little way, we had disowned her the same way Seth had disowned her 2 years earlier. She did not care because she had her little Avyanna.
Devika and Haizea made it up to each other and our friendship with Gael was on the rocks. Everyone else had shunned The Himmels and Avyanna and my mom.
" It is very important," Cassian said
" Very actually," Regulus agreed with him
" So as you guys know by now the war situation has been terrible and Reichtum has fallen to the other side," Aunt Keitha said
" What!?" I exclaimed standing up
Reichtum or Arma was the main producer of weapons for the whole kingdom. They smelted iron there and had some of the strongest warriors and defenses. Losing their support meant losing everything we fight with.
" The Duke of Shiawase has decided to join the other side," Aunty Keitha continued on
" Well we are fucked," Katara said slumping down
" Language," Aunt Kairi said giving her a slight hit on the head
" Not actually because we have also decided to join the other side," Regulus said calmly
" What do you mean by that?" Devika asked
" Well father found out that the wench has been sleeping with the king," Regulus said
" That bitch," Osiris said angrily
" They were plotting to strip the titles of Uncle Rowan (Haizeas's dad), dad (Devikas's dad), Uncle Perseus(Desiree's dad), and the Duke of Shiawase. So when my dad found out about this they started making negotiations with the Ikari clan that if they helped them they got to keep their land and power," Regulus continued on
" Wait, so she convinced the King to do all of this but why? If dad loses his wealth then Osiris and Seth won't be able to marry well. It could literally jeopardize me and Desiree," Toph said confused
" Isn't it obvious?" Katara said," She only cares about Avyanna and since Avyanna is married she has nothing to lose"
" My dad found out that they want to give Dynami and Coedwig to the Viscount of Hal and then give off the rest to the Prince," Regulus said spilling more information
" What about Himmel?" Haizea asked the most important question of the night
" Think, Haz. Who is marrying the prince again? " Akira stated
" So The Himmels are in on this, "Aunt Keitha said
" They finally did something smart for once in their fucking lives," Evette said
" Not really surprised with that fucking news. Wherever the witch goes the other one follows," Maylea said speaking for the first time that day
" Language, "Aunt Keitha said
" The Ikari clan wants to make sure that they have our signatures to prove our loyalty. So we all need to sign this and it shall be delivered tonight by me," Cassian said laying a piece of paper on the table
