The ball was about to begin and we were just doing the finishing touches to how we looked and I was already feeling like not doing this anymore. Like fuck this shit I'm out. I was getting hungry from the three hours of preparation for this stupid ball and Devika had eaten all of the snacks. I wish I had her body she can eat a whole cow and remain petite and small. If I eat a cow then I'm gonna look pregnant.
" Lady Desiree your tiara has arrived," One of the maids said to me
" Take it back I will not be wearing it tonight," I said
" Sorry my lady your mother said it is a must," She replied
Tiaras are the worst they are so hard to keep on and they get tangled in my hair. Its gonna take 45 minutes to get this tiara out of my head t the end of the night.

45 minutes later
" Lady Desiree the ball has already begun and you and your friends must make your entrance before your sister," One of the maids told me
" I am ready," I said
The maids then began to tighten my corset. You never really appreciate the oxygen you have until it is gone.
I left my chambers and went to the waiting room of my wing of the castle and Devika was sitting there taking a bite of a cinnamon bun.
" I thought you said all the snacks are finished," I said glaring at Devika
" Oops, sorry," Devika said continuing to eat the cinnamon bun
" Dear ladies you are blessed to be in my presence," Gael said making her entrance looking stunning as usual
" Well let's hurry up and go we don't have that much time and we are already late," I said a little frustrated
I knew my mom was gonna shout at me for being late. I didn't want her to be watching my every move at this stupid ball.
" Ok, we are ready let's go," Devika said calmly
AT THE ENTRANCE TO THE BALL
" Are you ready, my ladies ?" The announcer asks
" Yes, we are," I replied
" Who is gonna be announced first?" He asked
" I will go first," Gael said confidently
" Of course, your grace," He said bowing
He opened the doors widely while I and Devika moved away so no one would see us. Gael stood there proudly with a beaming smile.
" Presenting The most Honorable Lady Gael Cavanuagh Marchioness of Selene, Sinne and Kokebi and Daughter of the Duke of Himmel! " He announced
Gael then gracefully walked down the stairs proudly.
As she walked down the stairs, I and Devika heard footsteps behind us. They were the sound of someone running fast. We turned around and who else would be this late than the one only...
