"Sabichan! Sabichan!" Toshi ran towards the bench where she knew the girl she was looking for sat

The girl jerked her head up looking surprised and a little scared at the same time.

Toshi stopped quickly in her tracks.

"Oh... sorry, didn't mean to scare you." She rubbed the back of her neck feeling bad that she scared the girl

"Can I sit by you?" She asked cautiously

Sabishi nodded hair falling in her face as usual.

Her hair was long like down to he butt long. Way longer than Toshi's. Her didn't like her's to get longer than tricep length.

Toshi took a seat next to Sabishi setting the notepad and pencil beside her.

Today hair Toshi's hair was divided into low pigtails and she had a few butterfly clips in seemingly random, but strategically placed by her dad, places.

She took a pastel green one out and handed it to Sabishi.
"Here you go. This will keep your hair out of your face." Toshi smiled

But Sabishi shook her head then closed Toshi's hand with the object side and pushed it back to her.

Toshi blinked confused at the action.
"Hey, it's okay. I'm giving it to you, think of it as a gift. Not worth much, but at least it'll be helpful." She shrugged

Sabishi hesitated then took the object as looked at it.

Toshi watched her look at it.
"Um do you know how to put it in your hair?"

She shook her head looking a little embarrassed.

"Want me to do it?" Toshi asked feeling bad again

The girl shrugged unsure.

"Well I'm not as good as my dad or daddy, but I like to think I'm pretty good at it." Toshi giggled taking the item as Sabishi turned her head towards her and waited

Toshi moved Sabishi's long bangs and pinned them back, she noticed the girl's eyes. Toshi has seen them before, but not up close like this.

Toshi ended up staring a little bit too long before she said anything.
"Dang, your eyes are really pretty. They're so purple!" She complemented

Sabishi's eyes went wide then she quickly looked away holding her blushing cheeks.

Toshi gasped and changed the subject.
"Oh I almost forgot! I... don't wanna sound mean, but it's a little hard to talk to you if I can only ask you questions that are yes or no answer." She said capturing Sabishi's attention again

The girl was still blushing a little, but her face fell when Toshi finished her sentence.

Toshi panicked waving her hands in front of her and grabbed the notepad to show Sabishi. Hoping that would keep the girl from getting more upset.
"Uh w- wait! Don't get sad, I just wanted to say that we can talk like this. You'll have to write down what you wanna say so I can read it, but we can actually talk that way." She explained

Sabishi nodded taking the pencil and paper from Toshi.

Toshi sighed in relief then smiled.
"So our first conversation. What should we start with?" She asked

Sabishi wrote something down then showed the paper to Toshi
"Quirk?"

Toshi nodded as she read the page.
"That's a good idea! You wanna go first?" She asked with a enthusiastic smile
