July drifted it. Things were going smoothly, for the most part, at home and at school for Izuku and Katsuki. In fact...
Toshi had just finished eating so she was sitting in Izuku's lap at the table while Bakugou finished feeding Yukino.
"Come on Toshichan say da da." Izuku tried to get her to say
She had been saying random syllables for a few days now.
"She's not gonna say it Deku." Katsuki said feeding Yukino spoonful of baby food
"Yes she will, she just has to keep trying. Isn't that right?" Izuku told him then looked back at Toshi with a smile
He hoisted her up onto the table where she sat facing him with her leg dangling off and Izuku supported her back so she didn't fall backwards or forwards.
"Stubborn Nerd." Katsuki rolled his eyes then carefully stuck another spoon of food in Yukino's mouth
"Toshichan, we can do this. I want you to call me dada before you call Kacchan dada." Izuku whispered
"Oh so that's what this is about." Katsuki heard anyway
"Yes. Now, Toshi say Da... Da. Dada." Izuku said
"D- d- didi." Toshi tried
*gasp* "That was so close Toshichan! One more time." Izuku smiled
Katsuki shook his head.
"Twerp, I think your daddy's lost it." He whispered to Yukino
"I have not. Now shh, she's gonna say it. Da... Da. Daa... Daa." Izuku repeated
"She's not gonna say Dada." Katsuki said looked at him
Toshi looked over to Katsuki.
"D- di- da- Dada."
"Nooo, you were supposed to call me dada first." Izuku pouted
Toshi started to cry.
"No don't cry, you did well, you did awesome Toshichan." Izuku picked her up and rocked her
She looked up at Izuku sniffling.
"I'm sorry made you cry Toshichan. You're right, Kacchan is your dada." He wiped her tears away
"Guess that makes you mama." Katsuki joked
"I'm fine with that I guess." Izuku smiled softly at Toshi
"D- Dada." She put her hand on his cheek and giggled
"T- Toshi you called me Dada. Kacchan she called me Dada." Izuku said tearing up
"Congratulations Nerd, you've been demoted." Katsuki joked, but felt a little proud
"I think I'm gonna cry." Izuku carefully hugged Toshi
"Jeez you cry more than these two." Katsuki rolled his eyes
"Now we just gonna get Yukichan to talk." Izuku said looking at the silent boy
