chapter 11

In a Flurry of Feathers

I had loved Jason ever since I first saw him the first day of seventh grade. Unfortunatly, he was dating one of my best friends, Betty.

You might think that the girlfriend of the heroine's crush would be a stuck  - up bitch. (pardon my french.)

No, instead, Betty was a lot like a baby deer.

She was delicate and sweet with wide brown eyes, and a bad break-up might just crush her. Anyway, she was one of my besties.

I could never do anythink to hurt her.

The loud beep of my alarm woke me.

I cracked my eyes open.

to make a long stary short: clothes, mirror, breakfast, school.

homeroom.

I walked into homeroom, and my eyes instictivly roamed around the room. Crap. He was here early. I ducked my head as i walked pass him, but he looked up  just in time.

"Hey Syn. Sup?" He said.

"Oh...Hi...Uh, not much. You?" I studdered.

"Nothing." He said, loosing intrest.

I sighed and kept walking.

School. Bus. Home.

School. Bus. Home.

Repeat until weekend.

Time to fly.

This time, I was going on a trip. A trip trip. One that would change my life.

I was going chart some new trials high on some unexplored cliffs. Unexplored, until now that is. It helps to be able to fly over/around tough obstacles.

I packed my Bag of Stuff, walked outside, cracked my neck, and spread my wings. This was my time. The time of Syn, and i had a feeling that it would be quite an adventure.
