ruffled feathers.
"AH! I KNEW IT. I KNEW IT! YOU HAVE....FREAKING WINGS!" she screamed.
"shhh...um yuou should lie down...your having hallusinations or something! maybe i should call your mom or something..." i stammered.
she shook her head in disgust.
"dont lie to me. i know perfectly well that those...things...are real. But therers something i dont get. im your friend. why wouldnt you tell me something like this? where did you get those anyway? where can i get some? so thety really fly? do your parents know? does everyone know? am i completely out of the loop here? well, say something!" she babbled, without giving me a chance to breathe.
"gah, give me a chance to breathe here! i dont know what your talking about!" desperatly trying to lie.
she scowled, a hurt look on her face. and said "Stop saying that. their right there. i thought we made a pact to tell each other everything."
tears started to shine in her eyes. my resolve wavered there. she was my friend, i did trust her, and i hate tears.
i bit my lip and looked at her. "do...do you promise not to tell anyone?" i surrendered.
her eyes lit up instantly. "yes! yes i promise! now please show me?"
the tips of my wings were tingling, never a good sign. but i streached and unfurled my wings.
she let out a cry of delight and immediatly began babbling. "oh my gosh, their so cool! so where did you get the? did you go to some european doctor or something? wow, i cant even see the stiches!"
i sighed. "i dont know where i got them." i said in exhasperation.
"as if!" she smirked. "no way would anyone forget buying a pair of these babies."
"i didnt buy them. again, i dont know where they came from."
she stared at me. "fine, i'll ask your parents. they know, right? reciets or something?"
Before i could yell, she was out the door, and running downstairs, about to spill my biggest secret.
