Part 6 - Traitor

I went back to work the next day to inform the boss that there where no ghouls at that location

"ah, y/n. Have you finished your mission?"

"yes sir. I've found out that it is just an normal coffee shop and there is Mother suspicious in that area."

"I see, thank you y/n for your hard work"

I Bow and walk to my desk.
I am tired, I had to talk to people the entire time. I hate people.

I finished my paperwork and returned to my apartment. Thankfully everything was still there, I sat down on the couch with some coffee and watch the news

The murders has increased vividly. The police are doing everything in their power to stop these attacks but nothing seems to work.

I turned off the TV and went to bed. I haven't eaten in over a week, and it's starting to get to me. I've decided that tomorrow I will go out to Hunt

The next day I went outside. I was my day off so I could sleep in but of course I choose today to feed. I let my senses take over and lead me to the nearest food source. I found a woman in a cut-off alleyway just standing there. I went up to her ready to hunt her down. I started sprinting towards her when suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my back.

I turn around and see I've been shot. Choppers start to hover over the area and police cars block of the alleyway. Of course the one day I decide to go out of the house this happens. I had to get out of there, I jump on a random piece of metal that was hanging on the edge of the building.

I run on the top of a roof jumping from building to building, hoping I can escape the police and the government. A sniper was shooting at me but I already knew it's location so I could dodge it easily.

After an hour of running  I was able to escape. I went to the  house or shop I recognized and of course it was Anteiku. I quickly entered the building and see kaneki standing there looking at the news.

The government was finally able to capture a ghoul on camera. They weren't able to capture its face but they still try to shoot it down. Unfortunately they were unsuccessful and the ghoul escaped.

"god dammit! " I say while entering the coffee shop.

"oh hi y/n, did you see the news"  he turned around and noticed I was shot.

"oh my God, are you ok?"

"not really, the first time I go out of my house I get shot, and I'm still hungry"

"Omg sit down, I'll treat your wounds. "

"Kaneki is such a good kid." i think out loud

"thank you" he said with a blush

I didn't mean to say that out loud but at least I gave someone a compliment.
